Apparently Netflix have decided to start the new series on.... Yes, you've guessed it 01/04 2020. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...-season-two-release-date-cheeky-tweet-2071543 Got to love the sense of humour Netflix have.
The Mackems will be beelin at this. They will probably use Mackem logic to surmise that the head of Netflix is a closet Mag.
I'd prefer Sunderland - The League 2 Years following some kind of tax fraud (oh the ironing) sees them relegated.
We can still have both in my scenario. Joey giving them the bird before they get placed in their new home.
OMG I've just watched the 1st episode. Is this Charlie for real?! It's exactly like one of those piss take BBC Three documentaries.
i watched this yesterday and i found it funny , but I wish our owner was like theirs in terms of at least lying to us about caring. my favourite moment was the second wembley loss and the fan crying "why is it never us celebrating "
Finished this yesterday and was enjoyable but didn’t quite have the laughs the first one did. There was no “we will be definitely getting out of this division this season” quote in the first episode like the last series. Did genuinely get to like Stewart Donald although did feel he was out of his depth as demonstrated by his negotiating for “on fire” Griggsy but at least he was as far as anyone can tell genuine in his wanting S’land to do well but he was too much of a “supporter” as opposed to a businessman and was always doomed to fail.
I've watched the whole series TBF I liked Stewart too and started to warm to Charlie. He's of a certain breed of which I work with many. Could do with some better soft skills with his team but I could totally get his frustration. There seemed to be a serious lack of get up and go.
Best part of the series was the new director changing their new stadium song to Tiesto - Adagio For Strings. ****ing love that tune. Seeing the mackems fluffing up two Wembley trips was dream like.
Felt a bit of empathy for Donald Stewart. Lonely job. If they could have stopped Maja leaving they'd probably be in the championship now. Where were their old boys who could have tried to get him to stay for the season and become a cult hero whatever he did after that? But to replace him with a complete dud is kind of sad. Poor buggers.
