That brought a few tears to the eyes. Didn’t realise he was so young when he died, 40 is nothing. I kept seeing Mumbles pier and Twin Town when listening to it. He had a cracking voice!! RIP Ryan.
I remember hearing about his death on the HTV Wales news in my (student) house in Cardiff - we’d only recently moved into it on Cathedral Road. Then 12 months later, I was in the same room when the same channel announced that Harry Griffiths had died.
I'm a proud Welshman in a foreign land. Getting a few funny looks in my hat and shawl though. Just as well I didn't bring the harp too.
Got my daffodil on my coat, resisted the leek on my shirt, didn’t fancy eating it. Mrs Never has made some Welsh cakes so taking them into the English retrobates this afternoon. Happy St David’s day one and all. Special one to Victor, rest easy YJB.
