Match facts Millwall are looking to complete a league double over Bristol City for the first time since the 1992-93 season. Bristol City have won one of their past seven league games against Millwall (D3 L3), though it was in this exact fixture last season (2-1). Millwall have scored fewer Championship goals during February than any other side (2). None of Bristol City's past 18 league games have ended as a draw, winning eight and losing 10. Millwall have scored just two goals in their past six league games (W1 D3 L2), failing to find the net in each of their last two games. Famara Diedhiou has scored 10 Championship goals this season, the third consecutive season he's reached double figures. He hasn't scored more than once in a league game since April 2018, with each of his last 23 goals coming in individual matches. Millwall will hope forward Mason Bennett is fit to stay in the side after his return to the starting XI on Wednesday following an ankle injury. Midfielders Shaun Williams and Ben Thompson remain out, along with former Bristol City goalkeeper Frank Fielding. Robins head coach Lee Johnson could make changes after criticising his players' "substandard" display in Tuesday's loss at Huddersfield. Ashley Williams, Andreas Weimann and Niclas Eliasson could all be recalled. After three straight defeats, the seventh-placed visitors are three points off the top six and three points above 10th-placed hosts Millwall with 11 matches left.

Something different got us a point and if that's considered a good thing then so be it. After a few poor outings we recovered to get an away point and that's generally good, so onwards and hopefully upwards again in our next fixtures.
Crazy results again in Championship...Huddersfield thrashing Charlton and West Brom losing at home to Wigan.....It is a unpredictable league and having had a bad run, I'm fairly happy with a point at Millwall........we are still there or thereabouts ...
Trouble is and will be is our GD. Would not surprise me that will be the reason we miss out on the play offs
Lee Johnson on performance and result Much better than Tuesday. That’s our baseline performance now - it’s got to be. The way I picked the team was with players who have been here a while and know what want so there were no excuses. I thought the first 15 minutes we were outstanding and building on that the whole of the first half. If you come to Millwall on a boggy pitch then you’ll expect balls in the box but I think we limited them to maybe one corner in the first half which was a sign of how well we pressed and how well we hustled. We felt we should have had a penalty for a handball in the second half. But I thought they could have had a penalty as well if I’m honest. the one where Nagy doesn’t see him come blind side. And we also felt it was a foul in the build-up to the goal - we felt that Kalas got fouled. But in saying that, I want to focus on the positives and the grit that the boys showed. You’re going to have to earn everything that you get on a pitch like this and we had a side that wasn’t huge but that coped admirably against the physicality of the Millwall side. LJ on good point With the league results as they panned out today it turns this into a good point and we get one point closer to where we want to be. LJ on Bentley injury Bentley picked up a groin niggle in the Tuesday game so we tried him yesterday: he could kick it only up to the halfway line and do everything else. I did contemplate having him on the bench but if he had come on at two minutes then someone would have had to kick for him so that isn’t ideal. It was better served to go with Niki and Jojo. It’s hard for a goalkeeper because you don’t get games. Niki prefers to not play in the U23s games and have a hard training session and that shows his dedication to do as well as he did whether on the floor or with his handling.
Watched it and it was a point gained in my opinion. But don’t tell me there is harmony in the camp. 1 in 12 is shocking stats.
Our ongoing problem is that we are creating very few chances and having few shots. While we continue to give away soft goals. Really doesn't sound like a recipe for success and I can see us in 7-10th come the end.
IMO it would still be a good season, obviously we would all prefer a stab at the Premiership but hey ho. I see it, that as a club, we are far better off than we've ever been.
that is the worrying thing …..chances.. we get on the wrong foot for a few minutes then cant seem to get back on the front. take Saturday our defence was good! we stopped Millwall scoring but conceded an OG..... Lopes and DaSilva plus 2 centre backs and 2 subs that's 6 of the 14! Fammy Weimann Wells [ 1 a sub ] that's 9 of 14 so leaves the middle of the field, the supply line! …. need 4 on the pitch with 3 subs [ + jonjo ].. we have ELIASON, ODOWDA and PATERSON all capable suppliers but only 2 at a time! we need a general or 2 NAGY? and SMITH? on Saturday, Smith getting back up to speed... this leaves 2 subs to cover this position? Sat we had Massengo .. no Henriksen?or Rowe .. but 3 defenders I think we need to go with Saturday line up … maybe rotating ELIASON, ODOWDA and PATERSON to start but otherwise keep to the starters....
