I think he will play a part and I think the reason he wasn’t at his best is because of the injury he had when he signed and not being fully fit. Hope he takes his chance.
If he played with Lafferty I wonder if it was two up top or Grigg was in the Gooch/Maguire role. Parky mentions about the game being useful to get them used to playing in his preferred system so probably the latter.
As said above, it’s the managers call. He knows more about the situation than all of us. something is wrong though. I don’t think he should be fielded until it’s sorted.
