It must rival Barry Endean's moment. I saw some Liverpool supporters crying that day, maybe some tears again today.

I turned up ready to marvel at Salah and chums but our players were magnificent.

Didn’t want to jinx it , but that’s been coming for both teams , liverpool have been poor three games in a row now , since their break , but they’ve won the league , and must be hard to motivate at times , Watford have been threatening this , Sarr s injury really affected the momentum , he’s a special player who looks destined for the top , but right now he’s a great asset at vicarage road , i expect huge bids in the summer , Pozzos will cash in unfortunately.
As ben F says , hard work still to do , this will have done confidence a great boost , everyone was superb , four or five nil wouldn’t have flattered , can’t recall a liverpool shot on target ?
They seemed to have no belief , very odd .........

A great night for all watford fans

    Where did that come from!

Easy to say I guess but Sarr with his pace made a real difference and the defence really were very very solid hardly giving Liverpool a chance.

    Outstanding from minute one.

Shame for GD to get a nasty injury but overall a really encouraging and pleasing night.

This has been coming for some time
We did not beat LiVARpool, we totally outplayed them Deeney and Sarr destroyed their defence and our midfield totally dominated them
It was 10 out of !0 for every Watford player and 5 out of 10 for every LiVARpool player
The only downside was the injury to Gerard
    Now believe

Well done today, I thought when you played us at our place you didn’t look like a bottom 3 team.

I recorded MotD just watching now. Watford up first and boy did you deserve the win, but how did Sarri miss his hattrick goal?

I have to say well done Jurgen Klopp seen at the end giving Troy a hug. Much respect man!

I don't know if anyone was watching the Sky live transmission.. But John Barnes was on it.. I thought as some one ehi connected both clubs.. However i was disappointed. He continually related to Liverpool as.... We.....

They should have got Luther !

Now he would have talked about us.

Most of the pundits seem to be Spurs or Liverpool related tbh.

Millions liked Thatcher, which is why she ruled for so long. Not unusual for millionaire footballers to vote Tory!! Barnes was with Liverpool much longer than his time at WFC are where he gained much success. Not really surprising that is where his heart is.

I have been reading some comments from Liverpool fans and there are certainly some different opinions of what went wrong for them. You have the blind faith types who think that their team can do no wrong, so don't question anything, but blame others. Deeney should have got a red card, Oliver was hopeless, Klopp is not really that good etc. Then you have the realists who admit that they watched their side beaten by a better side on the day, and don't really mind as the title is much more important. Oh and by the way Sarr is not that good, he just got lucky.

We deserved the win.....not sure that VVD should have been on the park after what he did to Geri, watch the replays...it confirms what I saw real-time - VVD put his leg across the run of Geri and then pushed him!
Horrible challenge that could be career threatening.

I did see a few comments about a Deeney tackle - must have missed it.

I am sure VAR would have had a look if it was serious.
