Slow I think is the key term. There is no urgency or risk to our play. It's all very pedestrian and safe. Recently I've been reminded of Mourinhos Chelsea team, very strong and very solid with a bit of magic upfront to win the game.
Poor first half, created nothing. All predictable slow build up, ball to forwards with back to goal. Easy defending for Watford. Terrible game
That Deeney tackle on TAA was red all day, studs up. If TAA had made a meal of it Deeney would have been off. Overall a very poor performance. We are not moving the ball fast enough allowing them to get organised at the back. Mane and Salah have given the ball away to easily on a couple of occasions. I expect better bearing in mind the quality of the red wine I am drinking in support of the team.
We've looked complacent since the Leicester game imo. Add to that we have looked slow and poor since the winter break.
