Just been to get supplies in for tomorrow's journey. Dammit, no face masks left, so increased the alcohol content. 06:45 departure from costa del Blyth.
Hoping for a win but not sure how it will go, if we start on the front foot and press them we can win it, all depends on getting in to the game from the off and not making a slack start like last Tuesday. If we are really up for it 0-2. Ha'Way The Lads FTM
With this, with you fella cannot afford a early goal against us,play extra tight, and hit them on the chin.k.t.f. f.t.m.
I had to watch the Fleetwood match on my phone which was surprisingly easy. The players are almost always where I expect them to be. When the ball goes left from the keeper it's Flanagan, if he slides it up the wing it's Hume, if it comes inside it's Ozturk. Only Maguire confuses me because he'll switch with most of the midfield depending on the situation. But there's a definite plan and pattern of play which is why Ozturk fitted in so easily. With Ross, watching us on my phone, it was just a variety of red&white shirts running around in circles. I never really had any idea what the plan was or what was happening ... ... sadly, I don't think Ross did either.
0-1. I think that it will be an end-to-end game with loads of off target shots but McGuire netting with minutes to go!!!
If we get the 1st goal will we do a Fleetwood and waste an extr I fance a high scoring game. 2-3 but agree McGuire hitting the winner late on.
As it stands at HT: Rotherham 1-1 MK Dons Doncaster 1-0 Wycombe Burton 0-0 Peterborough Blackpool 1-0 Ipswich
I think 82 points will be sufficient for automatic promotion. That would mean us getting 8 wins from 11. There are too many teams to play each other where points will be dropped. 80 might be enough yet.
After today .... Coventry - Sunderland Ipswich - Fleetwood Ipswich - Coventry Peterborough - Portsmouth Portsmouth - Fleetwood Portsmouth - Doncaster Fleetwood - Rotherham Ipswich - Portsmouth Wycombe - Oxford Utd Coventry - Wycombe Oxford Utd - Portsmouth Coventry - Peterborough Rotherham - Portsmouth Coventry - Oxford Utd Sunderland - Peterborough Rotherham - Doncaster Oxford Utd - Fleetwood Doncaster - Ipswich Rotherham - Sunderland
Are Fleetwood Mac still going ? I'm starting to get a bit déjà vu, wasn't there a season maybe Peter Reid era where we were pushing for promotion then got the odd slip up against promotion rivals only to go on and win it ? Am going to need summat to calm me the fook down tomorrow
