We have to go into the game without fear, easier said than done, if we allow Barnsley to gain confidence then we will be in danger of losing it. Terry has to get them playing on the front foot to use an old cliche and take the game to them. I still think we will get the win by the odd goal, I certainly hope so. P.S. Typical City though probably lose to Barnsley and beat TWS.

Reading the HDM articles today I am struggling to agree with Terrys assessment of the coming matches. I know he needs to be positive but his stock line of I’m looking up the table not down is underplaying the importance of the game. For me it’s the most important game of the season. Lose it and follow that up with a poor performance against the white ****e and we are in all sorts of bother. The thing that bothers me most though is that for once I actually agree with Swanny. Does Terry have his head stuck in the sand ? It sounds like it.
Obviously very important game this one and I haven't got a clue for a score prediction, we have been on a bad run however think positive, go and support , win and we are nearly there for staying up.
I still don’t understand why toral and others aren’t playing reserve games to get back in the swing GRANT MCCANN WAS PLEASED TO SEE JON TORAL BACK IN BLACK AND AMBER AT THE WEEKEND FOLLOWING A FRUSTRATING SPELL ON THE SIDELINES. A three-month lay-off saw the Spaniard miss 20 league and cup games with a knee injury, but the 25-year-old midfielder made his long-awaited return to action when replacing the injured Tom Eaves in the second half of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat against Preston North End. Toral played 26 minutes at Deepdale – his first taste of action since helping the Tigers register a 3-0 win at Fulham back in November – and McCann believes the former Barcelona and Arsenal man can play a key role between now and the end of the season. “It was nice to have Jon back on the pitch on Saturday and he showed some nice touches and glimpses of what he can do when he came on,” he said. “It was a shame that they scored so soon after he came on because it made it much more difficult for him and everyone else. “But Jon is a player that we think highly of here and he will add that bit of quality to the team. He has the ability to unlock a defence and pick a pass. “His creativity is going to offer us so much going forward. It will be great for him, great for others and great for the team. “The likes of Wilks, Samuelsen, Maddison, Magennis, Eaves and Balogh will all benefit from playing in the same team as him.”
Maddison won't start if he's frit of their full back He knew Preston's Andy Hughes from their time together at Posh and Hughes had him in his pocket during training. Good look with the jailbait chaser because we had had enough of his dodgy antics at Posh, along with crying off from games he knew he would get schooling in. Although he likes hanging around schools.
Great first post. Lots of spare time during half term? Good to see you making the most of your break. Well done, now **** off. ****.
I saw the HDM have one of those predictions things & somehow I managed to think we’ll end up with 54 points. That did include a win v Barnsley & Luton, but if we don’t win tomorrow, I think we’ll go down. A draw wouldn’t really be helpful, but a defeat is unthinkable!
Repeat of the 7-0 drubbing of the Tykes who were our first opponents under the new Boothferry Park lights back in October 1964 would be nice. I was there. Chilton 4 Henderson 3. Happy days.
Terry won’t change the formation or some of the personnel. I can only see a defeat or at best a draw. I’ll obviously support the team, but we haven’t got enough battlers in the squad. We need Brabin/Ashbee/Whittle types to drag us out of this mess.
Draw I reckon , I think that’s how we'll stay up . Can’t see us winning many but I think we'll scrape enough points with a few draws
As usual with City over the years, we are underdogs again against teams below us. I agree with GLP though we need a lot of steel in midfield and not forever injured snowflakes. City to win 2 2.
Wasnt Stewart an unused sub at Preston ? Might see him get some minutes tonight .. hopefully Maddison gets more then 2 mins and Toral gets a start. Would also like to see Batty given another chance unless he is injured/I'll. Dont really know why he was dropped in the first place unless its injury tbh
Batty's going to be gone in the summer, McCann doesn't like him, he's already looking for another club.
