Hornets forward Sonny Blu Lo-Everton has been called up to the Scotland Under-19 squad for two friendly matches in Spain this week. The 17-year-old has joined up with his national team for two games against the Czech Republic. The first took place on Tuesday February 18, with Lo-Everton coming off the bench in the 1-1 draw.
Will we see these guys in action at the Vic ? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...s-aias-dimitri-foulquier-score-spanish-clubs/
I liked Foulquier, but there is a limit to squad size and does he want to start every week? Didn’t see the game, but perhaps he would’ve been good instead of Dawson against ManUre? But the level the other guys are scoring against in this article doesn’t convince me they are ready for the Premier League.
I doubt they will want to play in the slog that is the Championship!! We have all these players for the future but we need ready made ones now - and unfortunately a lot of our youngsters haven't made it.
Tour of America on the cards this summer ? https://www.watfordfc.com/club/partners/news-american-airlines-become-official-airline-partner
From the article: "Watford Football Club is delighted to announce American Airlines as its Official Airline Partner for the 2019/20 season." Bit late to announce that!! Next season Greyhound busses or mega bus might be a bit more appropriate given the games in the Champ.
M Yes - noticed that. They have been advertising at games for a whille though! I think someone forgot to do the press release !
Daniel Bachmann and Daryl Janmaat have both committed their immediate future to Watford by signing contract extensions, the Watford Observer can reveal. Both players' deals were due to expire this summer, but Bachmann will now remain at the club until 2024 and Janmaat 2022, following positive discussions with the club.
