Couldn't get more edgy than Iron Mike ... but he got pinged by an average Joe salad dodger ... and he took a schooling at the hands of Evander Holyfield to be fair ...

Nothing to be ashamed of, that.
Holyfield was a damn good boxer.

Which is fair enough. Tyson Fury, like his namesake, is pure box office, no doubt.

People dismissing Anthony Joshua are muggy ****s though imo, and I’d love to see him prove them wrong; against Fury he’d absolutely have his work cut out, but I wouldn’t rule out an upset.

Frank Bruno had his limitations btw, that much was always obvious. Heart was one thing he certainly didn’t lack though.

Not much love lost between those two, judging by Holyfield’s body language the other night.

    You mean Holyfield and Tyson?

Well to be fair, Tyson did mutilate Holyfield's ear!

Hardly surprising given the "Suarez kiss" that Tyson planted on him ...

... whole new meaning to "do you spit or swallow?"

Yeah once he was done and dusted and had lost his hunger

However up until then...unless you never watched him you’d know what Sucky meant

Used to watch a lot of boxing back in the day ...

Mike also had his fair share of payday cannon fodder bums ... not as bad as it is now for sure... and it could be argued that AJ had also "lost his hunger" or, at the very least, had become complacent when he lost to Taco Bell.

Also the case that Holyfield wasn't a 'natural' heavyweight ... more of an inflated light heavyweight / cruiserweight who just happened to work Tyson out and render his aggression ineffective ..

Check out Holyfield here when Tyson is introduced. He shook his hand because he had to, but he doesn't look to me like a man ready to let bygones be bygones...

Should watch the chasing Tyson documentary, I was too young to know all the stuff as it happened but the documentary is a real eye opener

    AJ and Tyson

    2 different kettles of fish

I know destructive nature when I see it, the vibe, the aura, oozing in Beast mode

AJ got none of that for me

If anything, from that video it looks like its Lewis and Tyson that are off with each other, not Holyfield.
I dont think they liked each other very much either from what i can remember.

Also we need to give a shout out to some of the smaller weightclasses, when talking about greats, we can't forget Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Steve Collins, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacqiuao and Floyd Mayweather.

First one to mention that ****ing prick Naseem Hamed is gonna get a kick in the ****ing teeth.
    Absolute bell end.
