    You still entrenched in the bowels of Humberside ? (yeh, I realize the designation has been redefined several times).
    Dwindling family still ploughing the fields over there. Summat to do with redeployment when fishing was decimated.
    The pits ( collier demise) brought me over here. Barnsley mid-week ?

    I developed a technique for use on internet forums

    Don't think it's really been widely shared as yet and it's a bit old skool or some

    What I do is this:

    I read the thread title and if that is of little or no interest, I don't click on the thread to read it.

    I've found this tip has saved me a lot of time and irritation over the years.
