The only problem with that 'flat earth' theory, is the roundness of the earth, its globe shaped essence and the fact that it is not flat.

 

Well he's proved there's a bit more of it that's flat now.

Oh and if it was flat it would have to be on the backs of very large Elephants, which would have to stand on an even bigger Turtle...

 

I read somewhere that if it was scaled up, a snooker ball would have higher peaks and troughs on the surface than the earth does.

 

So did I, that's why it's snooker loopy...

 

If the moon was replaced by a sphere of coal the same size it would appear a lot brighter in the sky. Coal is not a good reflector of light but moon rock is a lot worse.

 

If the Earth were scaled down to the size of a basketball, the moon would be the size of a tennis ball 24ft away.

I've flown and sailed round the bugger. We've mapped it's roundness using satellites that are orbiting it. I have a globe that shows were everything is.
