The beer in the Deaf Club must be getting stronger if I missed 27 goals as reported by ALS "Phil Parkinson was delighted with our fourth win on the bounce and another clean sheet against Bristol Rovers. He was also pleased to hear the fans sing his name during the 30-0 victory."

I said a while back that he'll become a key player and our captain ...

... I see no reason to change that opinion.

Ah but the FA apologised about the second one as the goal was disallowed!!! Would also look a lot better if the 2 decisions they apologised for hadn’t been given. we’d be top!

Absolutely. Been excellent fir us. Started slow but got to grips. Not sure I’d give him the captaincy! It’s often detrimental to a player. Let him captain the side without the armband

I think he could move up the divisions with us too, such a good engine on him reminds me a bit of Henderson the way he gets around the pitch. Never stops.

You need leaders all over the pitch... the actual captain Power once or twice in the game I saw was laying down the law and suggesting tactics...good stuff.
Willis also takes on leadership and Maguire to a certain extent

Some of Hume's passing yesterday reminded me of Jordan, not all of it by any means but enough to show he is moving in the right direction. We have some great potential at the club right now, and this developing squad with an addition or two along the way could be awesome, we have seen a huge turnaround lately and the signs are that it will continue. I counted 9 touches of the ball including the keeper starting the move, great quick accurate passing, movement and a lovely finish by Gooch. This team can play some good stuff and it's coming at the right time of the season. Keep it up lads.

Absolutely agree, it seems as though Parkiolas reputation for the long ball may have been due to the resources he had available at previous clubs? Some of our switching of play is fantastic at times, yes they won't all come off but that's just down to league one players being inconsistent.

They look like a lean, mean, promotion machine. :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Some of our passing has been excellent.

Who'd have thought Parkinson would have Flanagan playing perfectly weighted passes inside their full back for Hume to run onto ...

... it's almost as if the players show up on time for training, and listen to what they're told.

The encouraging thing for me was although we did not score before the sending off, we did create lots of chances before then... players know what they are doing...and are not scared to be innovative whilst on the pitch

Now there’s an omen . When wolves walked the championship with us bottom , we were the only team they failed to beat . Didn’t even score against us - and we only have an extra time penalty against Bolton

There was no plan under MON, Coleman, Moyes, etc ...

... there's a very simple plan under Parkinson and it's working.

I've never been so wrong about a manager since MON who I thought knew what he was doing ...

... he didn't, just another bloody fraud.

Tough game on Tuesday and we need everyone and their dogs up for it. I would love to put one over on one of the worst bell ends in football.. No need to mention his name..

Not that I really give a **** but I wouldn't be surprised if they appealed and got the red rescinded, what does he actually do to Maguire? I'm not seeing a kick, punch or headbutt. We would have won anyway it was only a matter of time.

It's not clear from any of the videos, but I think it was reported as an elbow and a fair portion of ****housery from Maguire.

Like you say it's not clear so maybe there's not the video evidence to rescind it but it looked like bullshit to me. Don't get me wrong it's about time that we toughened up and got more savvy we've been soft and naive for too long.
