In all honesty I don't watch enough of foreign leagues to judge whether or not it works for them. Although I think the principle is fundamentally flawed, I'm sure it could be utilised much better than it is here. Some internal consistency within a game would be a start. However, as I don't subscribe to the PGMOL conspiracy theories I don't understand why our officials should be any more inept than anyone else's. I wonder whether fans of other leagues have the same criticisms, and we just don't take much notice of that?
Implementation has been so badly handled, I don't think they could of ****ed it up more if they'd had ed 209 referee the match
Mourinho "doesn't see" Lo Celso's red card tackle even though he's about three yards from it, then he throws his players under a bus again. He's such a child.
My final word on var. As we have known for a fair while the refereeing quality in this country is not the greatest. It's why we don't have any refs officiating finals. Regardless of the system it's only as good as the operator. Having var should have made it easier for the referees but all it's done is highlight their incompetence. Unfortunately it's the system getting the abuse rather than the people behind it.
Manchester City will "leave nothing off the table" when they attempt to overturn their two-year European suspension, which could end with Liverpool in the dock over allegations they hacked into City's scouting database. (Mirror) Well that had to happen
What has that to do with them breaking FFP rules? Anyway, the investigation into that has been completed.
Figuring if they are going down they are just going to sling mud and hope some of it sticks I have no idea on either case tbh I just figured we would get dragged in at some point
They cant as they already received a settlement from us regarding that hacking incident. We're good trust me
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ool-finanacial-fair-play-manchester-city-uefa Article explains how FFP saved Liverpool Man City fans won't be happy Also @Tobes they call the loan for the stadium "interest-free" so you can have a go at them over the fact that it was technically 0.01% interest rate or whatever
