If anyone has found Bristol Rovers managers dummy, can you please return it to the Stadium of Light main reception or alternatively post it directly to Bristol?

“We needed a strong referee. I thought he was very, very good first half and then second half he just wilted under the pressure unfortunately.

“I’ve asked for an apology once he’s seen it back, because it is a very clear clash of heads. The game should stop right away.”

let’s address the first point “very good first half” this first half that he turned down SAFC for a stonewall penalty and didn’t give a second yellow to the defender fir a very poor challenge. Amazing how the Bristol manager missed that!!!!
As fir the “clear clash of heads” the trainer came on and treated his leg. Neither of the players needed treatment fir a head injury!! Ffs man get over yourself! You were lucky to have 11 at half time and be at 0-0! But let’s just say the ref was awesome cos he’s not given stuff against us

What the **** are you on about?? We won comfortably. You don’t change a winning team if you can help it. That’s why we are where we are and on the run we’re on. Give me ****ing strength

Marcus theres not a Ref in the world who would have stopped Wyke when clean through on goal, its becoming a bit boring listening to Managers moan on about anything other than accepting on the day the better team won.
It was the same at Oxford whose Manager moaned that his team had 99% possession and still lost which somehow was our fault.
Anyway onto Fleetwood and hopefully another win no matter how we achieve it.

Definate red for me, he kicked out at Maguire. We should have had a pen, and I don't know how those scrambles in the box stayed out. Plus O'nein should have buried his second effort when Semenyo put it on a plate. Should have been about 6 or 7 in all honesty.

Agreed about the pen, live at the time it seemed obvious, even more so on the replay..

I think Maguire had niggled him but hey they had been trying the same all day. What about their big centre half who tried to pull Gucchi's head off a few mins later?

I agree and have often thought Gooch could play a more central role, he has the predatory instinct and the finishing skills of a top top striker, class as you say. A bit limited perhaps as an out and out winger but lethal in and around the box, maybe we should keep it to ourselves for now. <laugh>

Cannot see it happening whilst PP has a settled winning team but let Gucchi n Maguire alternate/free role playing behind Charlie. That gives Charlie the help he needs and makes life difficult to mark players who flit in and out on the wing.

It's so tight this league, when you consider we're probs the only team in the mix, that's not beaten Bolton after playing them twice.
That league would look a lot better if we had.

Defo, its all about having options and 3 at the back with wing backs gives you the freedom to tweak the formation and still keep your subs dry. The real test is coming imo. We have been brilliant in grinding out results so far, but to get into that top two we need to keep it going, its all to play for, and I doubt our opponents have as much strength in depth, that the Jan. window has afforded us, we will see.
