Watched the 6 Nations match, Wales v France. Entering the last 10 minutes and France are apparently at 27-16. You would think the order would be to keep the ball and recycle through slow phase, but no, they kept on kicking the ball away, thus inviting Wales to apply pressure in the closing stages
I see Eddie Jones has come in for criticism for playing players out of position. Surely, any rugby player worth his salt, should be able to play in a number of positions. Austin Healey played scrum half, fly half and wing. Owen Farrell, fly half and centre. Looking at the build of a centre, perhaps they can play as a backrow forward. Years ago, I recall Jona Lomu joining the forwards for a lineout
there is nothing on the undercard that tempts me. Might just set an alarm and wake up, hopefully Wilder ends him
The super bantamweight title fight might be decent, and although I've not seen him, that Fundora is supposed to be a decent fighter. Funny that Charles Martin has got himself a nice spot, and he's heavy favourite by the looks of it too, so can't wait to see how bad this Washington matey is lol.
Getting up at 4:30 to watch it .......got a feeling Wilder will go for Tyson’s cut from the last fight ......
Not fussed in the slightest about Boxing , but a friend at work is and he agrees with you ref his cut . Also thinks Wilder will win easily .
After injuries to their two goalkeepers, an NHL team now has the Zamboni driver in net. Not even their Zamboni driver, it's an away game.
In the NHL, if you have no available goalkeepers thanks to injury, there's a dude at the arena who is the designated third goalkeeper. He's just some guy, not a professional hockey player. In this case, it's the guy who drives the Zamboni, which resurfaces the ice between periods. He's 42. He's an employee of the team he's playing against. His team is winning.
Fury won easy .......put him down twice .....Wilder was dominated after 30 seconds until the end in the 7th.
A massive handling error followed by a relatively easy kick missed. He’s not been as good this last year or so.
I was listening to Fury afterwards and the interviewer said "when you saw the towel had been thrown in, how did you feel?" Fury said "to be honest I was a bit disappointed, I wanted to punch him some more".
Time Sexton hung up his boots I think. He’s past his best and Ireland need to start building for the future. Tough decision for Farrell and Catt - they’ll be unpopular!
