This makes a change. The form book says that our next opponents have a better recent record than we do. Have to say that's been a bit of a rarity lately. So what are our chances this time?

We have been a bit wobbly lately even if we have still picked up results in a number of matches. Did well to snatch a victory last Saturday at Home Park having come from behind with a rare result having trailed. We came back on Tuesday having gone behind to snatch a point. So we are showing some resolution to our play now which maybe when not performing well we did not show earlier in the season. There is no doubt we can win this one but whether we will is another matter. Which Argyle will turn up this weekend? Don't think there is a storm on the horizon this time so no excuses. Only down side to us is the number of games we have played over recent weeks which in my opinion is or was too many. We had an extra one because one other club couldn't follow proper rules previously. Fair doesn't ever come into it does it. They cock up and somebody else suffers the fall out.

Still am looking for a decent performance this Saturday and a result which finally gets us past those a few miles up the road.

Not sure where you get that impression from Sensible: we have 13 points from our last 6 home games, which still include the defeat by Swindon. They have 7 from their last 6 aways. Although they have two away wins on the bounce in that, they were against Scunthorpe and Newport, so hardly earth shattering. At the beginning of the 6, they lost 0-4 at Swindon and 0-2 at Exeter so that's what we need to aim at if we're to cal ourselves promotion contenders.

Having said that, I'm going, so that's never a good sign!

I'm going from the league 2 info on the beeb football site. They have won their last 4 on the trot and we haven't. Over the last 5 matches that they show on there they have better form than us.

Not the greatest game in the word that's for sure. I think if both teams were still out there now they would still be 0 - 0. However, I would also add that they should have had an absolute nailed on penalty and we possibly should have been playing with 10 men. The lino should have had a say in it but didn't even raise a flag. Canavan is a very very very lucky man. I can sum the game up in very few words. We had the vast majority of the possession and did very little constructive with it. Huff puff and the house still stands.

Very frustrating afternoon. We totally dominated the first half, at one stage we had 70% possession and nearly all of it was in Cambridge's half. Unlike some of the teams we've played lately who pressed high to stop us playing out, Cambridge were content to drop deep and concede territory. We just couldn't create clear chances through a forest of defending legs.

Sensible is right: there were two bad tackles by Cambridge in the first half that went unpunished. The first was when of theirs came through Mayor's legs from behind. That was a yellow at least. The second was on the far side on Joe Edwards I think, again with no card produced. The only good thing I can say about this particular official is that he's very good at making sure throw ins and free kicks are taken from the right spot, to the millimetre. Fiddling about with that could have added another 10 minutes of extra time if we were to have got fair value for money.

Cambridge gave it a bit more of a go in the second half and by the end it was pretty end to end after Lowe had taken off Edwards and McFazdean for Cooper and Hardie. We still couldn't get that vital finish that would have put us third.

A frustrating game and we will have to do better if we are to go up.

I was alarmed when I saw Bakinson on the team sheet and he did nothing to calm my fears. If Josh Grant isn't available, I'd rather see Joe Edwards back in the DM role he filled so well early in the season and slot someone else in at RWB.

By the way, a sneaked picture of Danny Mayor's customized XBox controller was circulating yesterday.

Those 4 dropped points could haunt us in the end plus points we will drop in the remainder. Very tough games ahead and have to buckle up! Not interested in the playoffs/final as will know what will happen also....
