everything in there i'm sure i've heard or read before. there's nothing concrete in it. we have the smallest budget; which could be increased. but spending a pound more validates this statement. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how all this extra "investment" transforms into performance next year.
He's played the perfect hand tbh. He's kept all the value and got someone else to foot the costs - he's laughing his nut off!!
And if it goes tits up he will get his pound of flesh. I'm still giving ESI the benefit of the doubt though.
Quite right, hence the doubt. There's no in between, either they are true to their word and the purchase is completed in the summer, or the other thing, which would mean we would be worse off than when Douchatelet owned the lot. Atm we simply don't know which.
That is about as good as it can be at the moment. The doubt needs to be erased quickly. I see motormouth has been quiet the past 2 weeks.
Whether we stay up on or, ESI’s moment of truth will come this summer. They cannot allow the farce around the ownership of the Valley and Sparrows Lane to drag on beyond the end of the season, otherwise fan’s goodwill will quickly dissipate. If we do stay up then the squad is going to require a substantial rebuild in July/ August, which will require money. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t look as if ESI are exactly awash with funds. If they had been, they would have at least attempted to sign Josh Cullen in January, instead of underbidding £325,000 for a Blackpool striker. Interesting times.
I'm wondering if they're going to tinker with their plans in the wake of Man City being banned, fined and possibly relegated?now Know that the owners are somehow related.
If this mob do not 'show the colour of their money' and we continue to rent OUR ground off the Belgian, our future is very iffy and all trust in ESI needs to go flying out of the window.
Thought the Belgian has nothing to do with us anymore? I hope that we get a competitive team, but breaching no FFP rules. We have a good academy, hopefully with ESI we don't need to sell them off like with Roland the Tosser
