    We freely give away our personal info all the time. Most people probably share more on facebook than the info companies collect on them.

    A mate of mine won't use certain sites like Google or apps like Whatsapp because he's a bit of an Aberdude about being tracked by clandestine forces. I agree with you it's unavoidable so fck it.

    The only thing that puts me off with Alexa and similar devices is the ability of providers to record private conversations in your home.

    I've got one of those Alexa's that you can video call on.....I loved it so much, I shoved it in the bottom of a cupboard, never to be seen again.
