Enob, Darnborough, McCann wasted £20k a week (£20 ****ing thousand a week) for half a season.
Then wasted a net £10k a week for 2nd half of the season.
Meanwhile, for CM roles, they brought in Honeyman .... and then, instead of playing Henrikson, who was good enough to be made our captain by Nige, decided to pay LIverpool for the services of Kane. That won't have come cheap, with loan fee and wages. And now he's friggin injured.
I like the potential of some of the random collection of flair players they've brought in (Samuelson, Wilkes, Scott, LDS). I don't include Maddison or Kane as they aren't ours, and are highly unlikely to be ours. The CM remains our biggest achilles' heel.
MH was no world beater. But it's madness. Utter madness. . .

Or challenges for 50/50 headers. Be good at waving to the crowd at the end though.

We were still paying the £20k a week, while playing other players who passed to the opposition instead.

I can’t believe anyone is suggesting Honeyman or Irvine are better than Henriksen, at least not on anywhere outside the Facebook Fans Forum.

No one has suggested honeyman is.
But I’d say honeyman is playing better than henriksen was in the first season he was at the club. Cos henriksen was really really that ****. Cowardly **** too.

Let it go. We’re not going to agree. Henriksen was dog **** for us. He was dog **** that cost a lot of money and he didn’t standout as any good in the Championship as a footballer either. We may have some players pulling on the shirt that can’t pass accurately to a team mate. At least they want to pull on the shirt and at least they’ll put a shift in on the pitch. Unlike Markus Henriksen - absolute waste of space.

**** me, what an absolute loads of bollocks.
    Rewriting history.
He came here as an attacking midfielder, who had to adapt to the English football and a new role. Of course that didn't happen overnight. He became, and still is, a very decent Championship player, as well as a regular for Norway.
Nige was **** too then eh. He must have been off his head. As is Norway's manager. As are Bristol City, as they push toward autos (whilst we slump nearer to the bottom).
Unbelievable some of what is being written about him. FFS.

Let’s be honest if Henriksen was at our club now he’d probably be one of the best players if not the best. In the first season when he was here he was one of the worst. Says a lot about our club situation, our midfield and the rank cost cutting from those at the top.

If Ehab was prepared to give him a new contract he should be prepared to let him play, although I feel the buck stops with McCann on this one. Honeyman has 3 relegations on his CV in his relatively short career, he’s League 1 at best.

Henriksen starts in the same international team as King, Haaland, Odegaard and Berge. Not a
bad indictment for a **** player. Wish we had a few more!

It probably tells you that Norway as an international team don’t have any decent midfielders.

The transfer window applies to everyone except Barcelona? Does this set a precedent for non emergency emergency signings or is this a rule exclusive to the likes of Barcelona?
