Jeez Joe you aint getting the rub of the green are you . Hope that soon you are fit enough to have the op and we can return to hearing your , much required , words of wisdom .
Hi mate ... been on a bit of a sabbatical... so only just caught up ... as you may recall I've been through something similar .. stay strong ... think about those that need you around ... that's what got me through it all ... life now back to normal apart from the daily pills ... happy to exchange specifics by PM if it would help?
Cheers Sharp, is that for me or Burly though? Burly has been up there a year, I'm having heart bypass operation in a few weeks, he's got the beers in, so lets see how it all goes..
Gonna be complex mate, they are going to bypass 4 arteries and remove the artery with 2 stents in that gave me the heart attack. The spray, tablets are keeping me going now, constant tiredness and breathlessness and chest pain. You went through all of this and came out the other end like a new man, I so look forward to those days again..
Keep the faith mate ... hard to contemplate but for these guys most bypass operations are considered 'routine' ... well that what they were telling me whilst I was positively ****ting myself
All the best joe. If you are as tough as you say you are then i will be expecting you to be back here and shaking **** up!. Else i will leave you with this In all seriousness you will be missed so good luck buddy.
They are routine now mate, but still regarded as major and complex. Breast bone gets parted and it's clever hands and tools everywhere by all accounts.. I just wish it was time to go in mate, keep thinking I'm going to get another attack, angina has been bad of late. The sad thing is, I have this beautiful 40 year old mother to my daughter, who is bed bound, in pain and struggling begging me to go and sit down.. You don't need hero badges to show that you care, that you love unconditionally, just a heart and mine needs fixing bro..
Same here but they are to steady my heartbeat before the op. I have had 3 peaks today at 140-150 bpm when resting and 2 beeps at 41-44 bpm when napping.. The Apple watch has to be the best friend ever over the last few months, keeps me on track but btf I really need to get in soon for this op..
Save us a few I used to rob Tram off my old boss out of his drawer at work. Poor **** probably went home and suffered chronic back pain cos I fancied a decent nap.
Aww bless ya but these things won't help in the long term. They stupify me at times but slowly getting used to them, the blood thinners are my nightmare like, scratch a spot and it bleeds for days. I'm happy to keep you some like, if you are serious
I used to try all sorts. Didn’t give a **** cos my head was already just ****ed up mush... probably best I don’t go back there, being a father of two now. My mate gave me these headache pills once he got for some infection he caught in Ghana. I’d have a few of them, **** knows what they were called. Anyway, you’ll be good bro. Don’t forget to trim ya pubes before you go in the hospital, makes it look bigger when the nurses are washing ya balls. You’ll thank me later, I know.
Haha I will bare that in mind and thanks.. A scary one for you but Lollie has been on Fentanyl under the gum tablets for 5 years now, her hair is falling out but it cripples the pain and gets her through the day. They come in 100/200 mcg and personally I think it's been a heavy price to pay for us all for her to be pain free, hourly. No ****er has a clue as to what my life is but as long as there is love and devotion then we get through it all.. You look after them little girls mate, they are your life
