Anyone who has ever ridden will tell you it is lunacy to throw yourself off one at 40mph. Jump out of a car at that speed and see if it hurts.
Taken wide down the back to avoid the kickback I would imagine.

Held up, headway on outer over 5f out, in touch and ridden along on outer when unseated rider 3f out (jockey said unseat was caused by the buckle on right stirrup leather coming undone) (op 7/4 tchd 6/4)

As Stick pointed out, his kit failed. Lots of dodgy rides about But what is the point of jumping off one? It’s not as if the handicapper is going to put him down the handicap for it. It’d be dodgy if he’d pulled his head, got stuck on the rail and ran up the backside of fading horses!! Then he’d get a lower mark too!!

too much conspiracy theory here , lots of ways of not putting a horse in a race , jumping off at 40 mph is perhaps the most outlandish of them all <laugh>

What if I was to tell you guys that Ben Curtis was a stunt double in Bollywood for 10 years before taking up race riding. Now we have ourselves a case!

Let our imagination remain clear here though. He definitely wasn't jumping off that horse rounding a bend to throw the race. There are many ways to skin a cat, and as pointed out, he could have kept inside and ran into the backside of every fading horse if deliberately getting beat.

I would make a strong case for the person who made the video losing a lot of money on said jockey and or money that day/week/year on gambling and angling to blame anyone or anything to keep his belief that he's a good gambler and just getting really unlucky because every horse he backs is being stitched up of course.

Its back again tomorrow, but I don't think i've got the time to study properly. It looks a tough card with very few course and distance specialists.

    Good luck if you play.

Back again tomorrow, unfortunately I will be elsewhere so won't get to enjoy the viewing delights.

    However,

2:20 - A good few old friends in this one. I think Fly True is massively overpriced at 12/1. This horse was given a disappointing ride last time in but back with proper jockeys I think he can return to the form that saw him win decisively. He needs a pace bias to run against and hopefully they go hard from the front here to set it up for him, he is the one closer in the race and if they go too fast he will be staying on nicely at the end. At decent double figure prices, that is when to be nibbling at this one.

2:50 - The Cola Kid @ 10s. This is purely on the sire form. I think he has shown enough to suggest a novice race isn't beyond his ability, and a switch to Southwell could be a massive positive. Again he looks far too big in the market.

I like this horse in the opener tomorrow. Wasn't beaten far in 2 of her last 3 runs. Has run well at Southwell in the past. On a good mark and Franny Norton up. 11/1 on offer look generous for each way purposes. Any thoughts about this race ?

Wouldn’t put you off that one at all. KK was the other one in the race that looks too big I’m the market.

The only horse tomorrow that I liked has been punted and I’ve not got on. So likely to be a relaxed one of not betting.

horse in question is 4:10 Aunt Helen who I thought would be a bet at something like 3/1. Far too short now.

In the 3.05 I like Scrafton. CD winner with best results over 1 m 6 furlongs. Form at Southwell over this distance reads 313 if I have made a correct research. 8 lb below last winning mark on the aw. Elisha Whittington takes off valuable 7 lb. Last run at Southwell Scrafton was leading until being headed 2 f out over 2m. Now back over favoured 1 m 6 f. The fav has a penalty to contend with. At 16/1 at the moment seems to be worth an each way bet in my opinion.

    4.10 Life Knoweledge

    - 2nd run after a wind surgery
    - in the frame last 2 runs over jumps
    - runs of basement mark today
    - its the only ride of the day for Graham Lee
    - stable has been knocking on the door with 2 placed out of 3 runners last 14 days
    - Life Knoweledge has won on other aw tracks so todays fibresand debut is an unknown territority but there a enough positives on the other hand to have hope for each way purposes.

    Morning,

Unfortunately I've been far too busy to take an early look at todays card. Hopefully I will get chance today as I am on a rest day. On first look the card is lacking in runners again.
