You're just making stuff up, the reality is that Brentford owe Benham £71m, but he's already done a deal to sell Griffin Park to a developer and sell (and lease back the new ground), which will generate a cash payment of £82m. He's done a brilliant job there, he buys promising young payers for a few million and sells them for over ten million, which is not what we're doing at all, we're buying frees and taking punts on injured and out of favour players, in the hope that one or two might come good.
Reported that the projected cost for the new community stadium will be c£70m, of which Brentford FC are contributing £45-50m, then on completion selling to the developer for £52m. They will rent the stadium along with London Irish. Additional funding will go to developers who are also building 90 residential properties around the new stadium. Brentford are also due £30m for the sale of the Griffin Park site. The above one off costs (c£75-80m) plus other investments, mainly players, have been covered by Brentford owner Matthew Benham via loans totaling £113.9m to the club, some of which have already been repaid. Brentfords current debt is reported as £69.9m. The full balance of the loans will be repaid by the income from developers ref the move to the new ground, and sale of Griffin Park aided the fact that this season for the fourth season running the club will make a profit on transfers. Matthew Benham stated that currently the club in essence is debt free, and in any event within two years the club with additional income generated from the move to the new ground will have zero debt and be sustainable. Bollocks it maybe that the club has actual zero debt today, but the debt is entirely due to the owner, and primarily revolves around the ground move; c£75-80m will be recovered from the new stadium move.
Unlike the Allams who took over a mid-table championship club , having to sell players and £40 million in debt. They've spent over £500 million and ended up in the same place, having to sell players and £50 million in debt. Its nothing to do with being a sugar daddy and everything to do with how competent the owners are at running a football club. Brentford have taken steps to increase their income by moving to a new ground. I expect if they get promoted this season the Premier League monies will be invested in strengthening the club for the long term, more like Burnley than us.
Really? What’s made up ? Utter rubbish we’re doing exactly the same as they are. We’re just a long way behind them. If the allams scrapped the academy tomorrow like Brentford have done you’d be screaming from the rooftops. It if Huddersfield do it or Brentford its absolutely fine. Not everything the allams have done or are doing is ****. I’d be happy to see them go but they aren’t.
He hasn't written off debt, his debt will be repaid in full at the end of this year and the club will be debt free with a brand new stadium and may well even be a Premier League club. When it comes to running a football club, there's no comparison, Benham completely buys and sells the Allams.
I agree with one thing chazz has said , if we got rid of our academy then people would be up in arms at the Allams. Brentford doing that is probably something to do with their location though, they are going to lose young players to London Premier League club academies and pick up other players when they're released by them.
Unsurprisingly, as it's the one the thing the Allams have done in recent years, that deserves some credit.
If Brentford get into the pl they will increase ticket prices by 25% Reasonable or a rip off and all the pl riches and the greedy bastards etc etc We know what it would be if the allams did it. Ye they should go but they aren’t. and until someone pays them enough they remain. the bloke who bought reading was supposed to be going to buy us and was gonna be great according to some has hardly set the world on fire has he. when a local billionaire who’s a city fan turns up with money to burn we have a chance until then...
Would be more interestring than putting up with the Allams crap though. please log in to view this image
It wasn’t Allams who signed the players we sold for huge profits. It was under the supervision of Bruce and Stan Ternant. Now we have the delights of our transfer director and numerous number of incompetent number of former managers. So first up after Brucie is Kingsley, Toral, Irvine and Stewart. Grosicki included in that. Not very good investment there. And it continues. Only Lopes, De Wijs and Burke would resemble anything of value now. Club is well and truely ****ed now.
When is #AskEhab getting published? Thought it would be out by now? How long does it take to repeat same old lies and bullshit? Why am I even asking, as it's likely pointless anyway? Will it include a photo & confirmation of #EhabsWang ? Who took the photo in the first place?
Link thing for #arskhehaw in the HDM https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Sorry, don’t have 22 minutes and 23 seconds to spend on that arsewipe. Sure if he says anything of interest, it’ll be posted on here somewhere.
Said that the sale of the players hasn't reduced the asking price for the club! Fully expected really . They said they will have to make further reductions in players also as the wages are significant
