Yes I think he'll stop him. If Fury had the power to hurt Wilder then I think he'd walk through Wilder within 5 or 6 rounds but because he hasn't got that knock out power and he's going to have to jab and move like last time but take a few more risks and be a bit more aggressive I think he'll get caught and wiped out
If Fury could solidify the jab and make it a real spiteful one I don’t think he’d lose. The only thing lacking is that power - we will see on the night whether the Kronk team have added that nasty Klitschko/Lewis style jab. If not then it’s hard to get away from Wilder power shots for the whole 12.
I thought Fury won the first fight but I thought that he was way too cautious. His jab was great but it was one jab then out or two tops. Not many combos and didn't show enough aggression because he was obviously and quite rightly worried about Wilders power. So this time to get the decision over there I think he'll have to be more aggressive and come forward more not just purely jab and move. I think because of that the chances of him getting caught are much higher and it only takes one punch from Wilder. There'll be no miraculous recovery like last time that was a one off superhuman effort from the Gypsy King. I actually wouldn't mind Fury winning this even though I like Wilder more. A Fury win would be better for boxing and I think Fury/Joshua would be a more interesting fight than Joshua/Wilder.
Fury hurt Wilder in the last round just after the knock down and Wilder did not do much the last minute of the fight due to it. It is a proper 50-50 fight though, if it ends by ko it will be Wilder, if its a points fight then has to be Fury. I think they both beat Joshua.
I think Joshua can beat Fury- but would have a hard time imagining he could not get hit by Wilder- think that would be a shoot out.
That's why I think Joshua/Fury is more intriguing. I think Joshua can beat Fury, I don't necessarily think he will, Furys movement is too good but he's got a chance. I don't think Joshua stands a chance against Wilder. Too chinny and I'm not sure Joshua's power is all it was hyped up to be. As his opponents have improved his punch power has looked less effective. It's still an utter ****e division lacking any real quality (Uysk is world class but maybe not a true heavyweight) so we have to make do with what we've got
Strange how we all see this heavyweight scene in the different way. For me, Fury is the great unknown. If he stays out of the way, he has the abilities to beat both Joshua and Wilder, but he hasn't shown the power of the latter two. And since the first Ruiz fight, I'm having trouble with Joshua's chin. For the life of me, I can't see him escaping Wilder's right hand. Of the three I see Joshua with the weakest chin and the one most likely to hit the deck. I think Fury beats Joshua too. Probably on points. As for Usyk, I think he'll have his hands full with Wilder, Joshua and Fury. Two have too much power and the other is too big and too awkward and probably punches harder as well. I wouldn't be surprised if I got it wrong on all counts.
I dont necessarily agree about Usyk.I think Fury would be his stumbling block due to the big size difference.I think he could easily wear down Joshua and Wilder. Hes far and away too smart for a crude brawler like Wilder. Joshua has stamina and chin issues, though he does have good fundamentals. Either way its a very big ask for him,but if anyone can do it Uysk can. We will soon know when he fights Del boy.
It'll be interesting to see how far Ryan Garcia goes in this business. According to De La Hoya, his next stop will be against Jorge Linares who boxed in the under card.
According to Frank Warren, irrespective of what happens in the Wilder - Fury 2 fight, a third bout is locked into the contract should the loser claim the right to fight. The beaten man has 30 days to make up his mind. The winner has no option but to agree. This could go on forever. June 13, 2032 .... Wilder - Fury 14.
Fury wins wasnt at full strength or fitness last time and wilder couldnt put him away, psychology will play in to this and Fury is a master at that BuT the last thing Fury should do is try going toe to toe with him
Really hope Fury wins but Ive a feeling Wilder is going to land the big one. This is for the no.1 in the division. Joshua lost all claim to that getting bashed up by Ruiz. Dont get the fuss ovet Usyk. Made Bellew look like Floyd Mayweather for 6 rounds. Anyway cmon Fury
Ref Usyk. You need to.watch the super 6 tournament he on. It was a tournament stacked to the hilt with talent. He then faced a guy in the final that was considered one of the most dangerous and ferocious men in world boxing. Usyk boxed his face and made him look like a rank amateur. Now I could go on about his exploits as an amateur, but I think you get the picture.
