Not aiming this at you, you just happened to say it to me, but... What's with the obsession with our players having to be the best in varying geographical areas?
Pin-point passing over distance is very different to hoofing it in the general direction of a big target man.
I've always maintained that he was playing the role he was told to play. Klopp even said this himself a couple of months ago - he said that when he arrived he saw Hendo in a withdrawn role and thought that was where he was best so kept him there, he didn't realise what Hendo could do if let off the leash a bit. That's what the change has been this season.
Sick of saying this to my old Man tbh. I read the same as you from Klopp regarding hendos early role and klopp admits his mistake was thinking a number 6 role was all he could be.
In the 62nd minute, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson made a rare mistake on the Goodison Park surface, losing possession in the process. Moments later, Tyler, whether he meant it or not, described his slip with a hint of irony. "Alisson slips, are Liverpool going to slip?" he said. As you can imagine, viewers picked up on the question and took to social media almost immediately.
Its pinpoint passing when done by Scholes, Beckham and Ferdinand. It's only hoofing when done by Trent, Virgil and Hendo. Apparently.
Well if you're gonna get all mardy about it, I'll just remind you that I made the point before you anyway. Post #166 https://www.not606.com/threads/vs-norwich-a.381657/page-9#post-13586535
