A repeat of the first t20? Just when it looked like we'd broken the run chase, a wicket in the 19th over.
No.5 is just such the right position for him. Allows to be play the role as finisher (which he is excellent at), but still generally with enough scope to play himself in first.
Test cricket is fantastic, but this series has shown what T20 cricket is all about. 3 amazing games of cricket.
Great run chase, England just have so many match winners in white ball Cricket. Superb knocks from Buttler, Bairstow and Morgan.
Having watched a fair few games of baseball, admittedly only on TV, I totally get the attraction. BUT, T20 is a far, far better spectacle in every way. How many MLB games do you get a home run every couple of minutes?
Yeah, but runs are more valuable in baseball than in cricket as a good baseball team will score 5-7 runs per game on average. It is easier to hit a 6 than a home run. You have to hit a ball 400 feet or so which is 120 metres. You can't really compare the two sports. Baseball is like test cricket, you have to be a real fan to get into it. T20 cricket is more relaxed. You can be semi-interested in cricket and like T20.
You chose to completely miss my point, which was that T20 has far more action and incidents per minute of play than MLB has. That in itself makes it a more spectacular sport for the average spectator, but cricket aficionados can also take delight in the skill levels of the players. Instead you decided to look down your nose at people who don’t understand baseball, which I do, by the way.
