We only got a few glimpses of the top level strike force Kenwyne and Jib. could have been. Looking back so much went wrong. Poor management, and not just Bruce's led us to where we are.

I absolutely loved Kenwyne but he was so inconsistent and he couldn't shoot for ****.

On his day though, he was unplayable. His return from an early season layoff to come off the bench and help us beat the mags was a stand out. He seemed to single handedly lift the crowd and the team that day.

In hindsight, we should have taken the £20m when Spurs cam knocking though.

I’m a person that has never, never, never disrupted a dressing room or be at ends with a manager but the time with him was just spoilt to be honest.

Thought he went on strike at Southampton to get a move here ?

Yeah his shooting was awful, I always used to watch him in the warm up and just going off that you'd never believe that he could possibly be any good upfront, he makes Wyke look like Shevchenko.

He was though, great player on his day even when he was more use in defence than attack.

On his day Kenwyne was unplayable but sadly that wasn't happening on a regular basis. He could have been an immense player if he could have been more consistent

I don't know how you manage a player like that, is argue it's not really possible. In all honesty it's why must top managers just don't buy them in the first place - Bruce has a similar situation with Ben Arfa at Hull iirc.

He was never the same player after he signed his new 40k per week contract.

He put a hell of a lot of graft in both in defence and attack. It used to boil my piss when some people suggested he was lazy.

I don't remember him being a grafter and he was one of the most inconsistent players we've ever had which would suggest his work rate wasn't premium.

He was always there to help out in defence and was always there when we attacked. That was graft.
