    I’ve always advocated Parkrun. Completely free and only 5km (3.1 miles in old money). Every time I return home I try and fit one in.

    I’ve got a mate like you, he has 7 marathons lined up this year but his coordination is like a buckled wheel.
    But you’re right it won’t help your knee due to the impact but I’m slowly but surely getting back into it all now.
