Not much to add to what's already been said by everyone, every ones given their opinions. I'm trying to work out how some think we played a brilliant game, truth is, we didn't. We didn't play no where near as good as we can and have done. Bristol City have won 6 out of their last 8 games, their heads and confidence are up, they won't fear us but will have done their homework on us and like others, will work out how to beat us. If we play against Bristol like we did against Brentford, we'll get beat cos Bristol are playing very well. I post Connors, Osca's and Joes videos cos they give their opinions and analysis on matches. Conor and Joe talk more through passion than Oscar, Osca talks more realistically, but all 3 are cumming in their pants cos we drew, they're having orgasms cos they believe we played fantastic football, they had multiple orgasms cos Pirlo... was back in team; how are they finding time to give their post match analysis through all their moanings, groanings and aaarrrggghhh's. Best player on field by far was Klich and deserved MOM in my opinion, he was immense, best midfielder and Klich was very close to getting back to his best. Regarding Pirlo's... return, didn't change anything, didn't see any of the rigidity and stability Bielsa and others talked about, he rarely featured in extended highlights so he couldn't have done much to give people an hardon, but, some people are into kinky stuff, each to their own. Ristac, cocky as you like texted me during match, said something like " are you watching Pirlo's.... performance, did you see those 2 great long passes" I replied "is Pirlo... playing then". They were 2 good passes Pirlo.. made, but in a season of 46 games, what would that percentage be. I also remember the games where Pirlo's.. passing, corners and free kicks were abysmal, too long, too short or straight at an opposing player. I also remember Harrison took a corner and Cooper scored from it, remembering too Pablo took a corner and Cooper nearly scored from it.....oh well, Bielsa is Bielsa. Performance wise, Brentford and Leeds were on par, both sides had their shooting / scoring problems, and, if one player hadn't shot against Kiko they would've probably won match. Midfield wise, I think Brentford shaved it in our half. Their passing was quite short, sharp and accurate most of time, but like us, they also made mistakes. Can't take anything away from our back 4, it wasn't a brilliant performance, but it was a good performance apart from Brentford going close a few times. We still need to improve our performance big time, Bristol will come at us full of confidence. enjoy. Ext highlights Bielsa post match comments Conors post match analysis. Conor says this is our turning point cos we got a draw.....mmmmmm. Oscars post match analysis..... Wainmanjoe's post match analysis. Phillips post match interview. Copied this from Joe wainman on twitter. The twitter thinks Bielsa is a magician, thing about Magicians is, they produce an end result. What the twitter fails to realise, or mention is, Bielsa hasn't won anything. He, or anyone can say that for 4 or 5 seasons, the common denominator is, he didn't get us promoted. If he doesn't get us promoted this season, he'll be gone at end. @Br1t2000 Replying to @WainmanJoe @TalkingShutt and @BinksLeeds I thought that was amazing too - 78 games in charge, never outside the top 6 and only 15 tines outside the top 2! The man’s a magician!! #LUFC 10:25 AM · Feb 13, 2020·Twitter for iPhone 1 Retweet 6 Likes .
I really don't want to join in the Philips argument but the sarcastic way you identify him in your post makes me not want to read it. Please let's move on.
He can't. His life's work is 'proving' that he's always right with nonsensical postings & attacks on sensible people who point out where he's wrong. He's still the only guy in the world that believes Adryan could get us promoted! Only Blue Meme has upset so many people so much. Captain Jackboot even manages to out-Clive Clive, which is a bugbear of mine - at least Clive was polite in his (odd at times) advocacy.
LL, you obviously work hard on your post match reports, and you raise some good points, but the Phillips things is wearing a little thin.
A little? Clive would have been booted off after a couple of weeks for less. Oh, that's right - he was! Still don't know what he did wrong last time. I thought he was right on the money.
Clive talked a lot of sense at times and I wouldn't mind seeing him back. Not just yet though as he'll be knocking one out over Grayson's latest sacking and be referencing it in every post (the sacking, not his knocking one out)
For me and my opinion only, the Kiko thing has fans divided 50/50 some say he should be dropped, others say give him more of a chance, it is a healthy debate. Those saying keep him between the sticks still acknowledge he has made some glaring mistakes recently. If he plays against Bristol City and plays a blinder those (myself included) saying he should be replaced will probably say wow he saved us he played well. I want Kiko to play well, we all do, I would love him to remain between the posts for the rest of the season and never make another mistake, I know he doesn't make those mistakes on purpose, he is a Leeds player and I respect him for that, I accept we all see things slightly differently but it is all how we genuinely see it. Now Phillips, every Leeds fan knows what he brings to the table, if he has a bad game some will say they feel he has, none of us want to see him dropped, these match reports by LL contain hatred towards Phillips more often than not, it doesn't matter what the player does, LL will find a reason to abuse him and see things that are just not there. I'm no longer going to get into debates with LL about Phillips, I'm only replying to you direct Shaks in regards to the Kiko bashing that goes on and things must be getting out of hand for Ellandback to now comment and say it is wearing thin. That isn't knocking Ellandback but he is far more passive than most of us on here. For the record, I have no idea what LL is going on about regarding texting him, I assume he means I referred to him in a post.
I'm sorry I commented now Being serious for a second. Surely LL is entitled to his opinions regarding Philips and if people are fed up with them, then they should just not reply to them. I rarely comment on the matchday thread until half time and fulltime because of some of the stuff spouted on it.
I just read FOR ME at the start and IN A POST at the end.... Only messing Ristac, not long winded at all and it's good to hear the other opinion..
Is it 50:50 on kiko? Maybe we should do a poll. what lights my touch paper on it is we had a young lad who came in, had some good games, made some mistakes, fans turned on him. in comes real Madrid’s finest, the same fans were filling their socks every time he made a regulation save. it took a while for them to notice he was making regular mistakes. Some clowns who tied their affections to him are still in denial. end of last season our young lad who didn’t get a contract offer (along with roofe) because the money was spunked on kiko, goes to a premier league club and gets labelled a money grabbing Judas... while mr 40k a week is doing his best to cost us promotion... and we’re meant to be sympathetic. from what I hear kiko is a nice guy, I don’t really care to be honest but I don’t want to see his career go down the pan. My main priority is the success of the team. If we’re going to play him no one wants to see him turn in a string of brilliant performances more than I do. And if he does, I’ll say so. But I’m sure as fck not going to apologise for pointing out the bleeding obvious. Which is we’d be top of the league with just an average keeper. shall I get off the fence and say what I really feel
Certainly LL is entitled to his opinion as we all are, but he seems to believe his opinion is fact it isn't its his opinion.
