    I hope Pugh does better this time than he did during his last tenure, as he was only mediocre in my view.
    I really feel Simon Grayson is letting the club, fans and himself down, i cannot accept his team selection majority of the time and for an example i still cannot understand last seasons run in, when he played Naylor then told him after the last ball was kicked "sorry you are not good enough" and showed him the door.
    Snodgrass....not interested ... sell him and get what you can, Clayton should of cracked him when he told him to F### off after clayton told him "you lost your man" when that team in red scored there first goal, Howson thinks he is better than what he is, and the defence... well we will not get into play offs unless it is changed along with the manager, unless Grayson tells that gangster with the white beard "dosh up front or i am leaving, but no fear of that as Grayson dare not drop certain players even they are playing poor..... my rant over....feel better for it.... MORNING ALL!

    Richard Dunne is well past us now, he has hit top form again. Shame we couldnt get him when we had that chance in the summer, if it was ever true.

    there has got to be some good central defenders who want to come to us, and let our coaching staff ruin their careers!

    Sol Campbell would surely sign for £10K a week after all thats 10K a week more than he's getting now!!! He would be playing on for the love of the game at his age and with his bank balance anyhow, not for the money so if it does become about money we dont want him as his heart would not be in it.

    Parker loaned out to get game time. OB, time to get loaned out & then sold. Bruce I think still has a role to play in the same way Bromby was out in the cold for a while.

    This signing is just what we need. I'm still not convinced SG is actually getting the financial backing he needs through, from readng the YEP site earlier I picked up on some of the language used;

    "Grayson revealed the funds raised through the recent sale of Max Gradel to St Etienne had helped to secure a six-figure signing."
    and...
    "I’ve been hanging on for this opportunity and the money we got from selling Max has been invested in bringing Danny to the club."

    Does he mean that he's used all the money he had available to bring Pugh in on a 6 figure sum (which could be £100,00, though probably more)? If so, I really hope Pugh does the business and doesn't get injured cos it seems we're pinning our hopes of a defensive turn-around solely on him.

    I dont even think he will play Pugh in deffence. Think he will stick him out on the left. I rate Pugh and he will help out Whites devolpment & support him well but he isnt the dynamic we had in Gradel.

    I agree Bucks, it seems we're not able to replace like for like in terms of quality, we're not fortunate enough to be able to be that choosy. Another winger who takes on players and has a sharpness would be great.

    Pugh has a lot of quality that Gradel didn't possess though, and like you say, will hopefully benefit other squad members. I'm hoping Sam can step in and do that role we're missing, he is good enough but has been abit unlucky so far imo.

    Always rated sam. Seen him a few times for Charlton as a couple of my best mates are fans & he was good there. Still seems a little raw but that is exactlly what game time will cure. Look how Gradel came on leaps & bounds in such a attacking team!

    Bruce has been injured up until the last week or so, Sam is injured as usual, Parker is too (shock horror!). Grayson said Pugh to play in midfield, which will give us a strong left with white being able to make some overlapping runs.

    Quite pleased about this signing. If he sticks with White in defence and plays Pugh midfield, then we've got a good left side. Agree with everyone saying Sam needs to come into the team, pace and a good cross on him. Freshen things up with a bit of width.
