March and April are big too. Five games in each. It's an awful cliche, but one game at a time at the moment. Fingers crossed we can finish top two, I don't think I can take bloody play-offs again.
If we do have to go to Wembley we can’t be doing the whole massive party the day before as if we’ve already won the game already!
You guys are gathering momentum at the right time. Ours hit the buffers last night. Calling it now - yourselves and Rotherham for the autos, Peterboro, Coventry, Pompey and Ipswich for the coveted play-offs. PS: Back to the sangría
Well can 8 teams lose their next few games, Rotherham, Peterborough, Coventry, Wycombe, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Doncaster and Fleetwood... if they do we should get into the automatic promotion spots and definitely into the play-offs by the end of the month. We just have to keep winning and hope all those around us trip up! Simple as!
Every club seem to have a dip in results at some point in the season, up til now Rotherham, Coventry and Peterbrough haven't had theirs so here's hoping they are due fairly soon. It would be unbelievable if we were bitten again like last season when Luton and Barnsley just kept in winning, surely lightening can't strike twice.
This is a very long thread, unfortunately about sweet FA atm. Especially as the Dell 3 have become 2? However if we do get promoted ( O god yes please) Donald is not wealthy enough to fund us in the Championship, but I suppose he can sell us for more?
How does your income compare to your expenditure? 30,000+ would be a regular feature, and providing the club are not paying exhorbitant wages, do you really need a sugar daddy? I would add that the North East used to be a hotbed of footballing talent, so maybe it is time to really profit from this.
Yeah, it's only Rotherham and Coventry yet to hit a real sticky patch...although Rotherham had a slow start to the season. I hope they do, and of course they play each other next Tuesday which is good for us.
