That sounds like a good opportunity my friend. Good luck in everything you do.

Really not enjoying this new job.

The atmosphere is awful. People constantly bitching and sniping.

The team leader who is my friend is dreadful at the job. She has no man management skills. And has been awful to a few members of staff. One has walked out accusing her of bullying.

Sounds like a normal office to me. That’s why I work from home.

It's why I try to avoid contracting/employing British women. They're a self righteous nightmare in work environments. Demand equality, then put in half a day's shift, wasting time gossiping and complaining, then bitch about each other to make themselves look better. If there's a group of them, they always turn on the girl with good legs/tits, as never grow out of teenage schoolyard tactics and conversations. There's always problems. You don't get it with Central European women in the workplace. The only worse workers I've ever encountered were Zimbabwean Shonas.

I recommend that anyone who struggles in a workplace environment but doesn't know why, gets checked for ADHD. The inattentive sub-type in particular often gets missed in childhood. It can lead to lifelong feelings of shame if it's never picked up.
I spent 17 years on minimum wage as a Travel Agent feeling worthless. I knew the job wasn't right for me, but because I'd struggled so much at it, I didn't think I could do well anywhere.
Since getting a lucky break and finding a job that will really suit me, I was able to work towards it by doing some volunteering. During the course of which I found out that I have Inattentive ADHD. I now take medication that has changed my life for the better in so many ways.
I then embarked on a two year post-graduate diploma, so in April I will begin my Professional practice as a Play Therapist working with children in a school environment. I do so feeling in the best shape of my life, aged 42.

Might get better Cas, but if not use it for what you need. Get paid, get your CV up to date, and be in a position to move on if anything else comes up.
Shouldn’t be the case but it does seem to be easier to get a job from another one, rather than from scratch.
Plus all jobs will be **** sometimes...I suppose that’s why we get paid to do them.

    Keep on keeping on

    Fascinating sub topic here.

British women are second to none in diddlum admin and birthday/get well card stuff.

Not sure what you mean by Central European. Austro Hungarian? Czech? Slovak?

Suspect Heimat is doing a bit of leg pulling here, but I actually think what he said would go down a sturm on Loose Women.

When I've seen bits of it, it'd make Lawrence Fox seem like a woke fem.

Use a brush / broom with a wider head, you get the same results quicker.

Too right. That mob love a 5 hour meeting about what office stationary to order, disrupting the entire office to sign a Facebook petition to save a Nepalese goat, Maureen from accounts' diet or to spend hours discussing their mother's illness, but ask them to go out in a gale and grease the crane winch mechanism and they pull out the 'not in my contract' card. Yes, Karen, neither is ordering a dress on Asos for your daughter's 18th.

Germans, Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs etc. tend to not have this incessant need to gossip endlessly.

    Yes, loads if permitted.

    1) If we are truly honest with ourselves, no woman between the ages of 28-65 should be allowed to drink alcohol, because they all become irritating, argumentative liabilities.

    2) Take away all Irish men's 'Oi'm Oirish' shtick and there's zero personality there. If they were banned from referring to Ireland, Irish stereotypes or Irish history, there would just be silence.

    3) likewise with people from Liverpool
