Just been looking at the form book and noticed that if Salford win the game tomorrow they will have a perfect score on their results so far. That is 11 wins, 11 draws and 11 losses. Obviously we have to spoil the party. Not the perfect game to have to play having lost the last one away from home 3 - 0. It's a long drag for a Tuesday night and the weather forecast for this week up North is not the greatest. I suppose there is a chance it could get called off but probably not. This is another one of those tricky affairs. Salford have not been the greatest side in the league this season so far but then again they can produce results when possibly not expected to also. They are in the current position thanks to cash from the Man U class of 90 something who no doubt can call on contacts to help them out player wise as well. Given that they haven't set the World on fire. We can win this but not if the same team turn up as did on Saturday. Will they bounce back? God knows but we live in hopes. COYG

As tonights results turned out it was indeed a must win in the end. Thankfully we did so job done. Exeter were given advantage by a sending off so the score in the end was perhaps not that unexpected. Swindon snook in by the skin of their teeth but keep winning and Crewe crept over the line. At least the ones below were not set to play catch up. Don't want to finish 4th though so we still have work to do.
Playoffs out of the question.....seemed very hard work again and see if defence was poor again in replay..
2297 spectators at Salford.....1005 of them green army.....that's a tad under 44% of the crowd travelled on a Tuesday night in appalling weather.... quite a distance to watch Argyle.....and rewarded with an injury time winner.
