Tbh we are kind of playing hoof-ball at the moment, would love to have him back on the conditions mentioned by Nolberto's Salsa Inferno, he's alot better than what most think, he can actually play decent football, has good feet, can hold the ball up, wins majority of balls in the air, puts in a shift defencsively, would defo take him back at a price cut!!

I really don't think they'll be too patient with him if he doesn't start bagging goals soon; they have too many players being left on the bench as he gets his chances.
E.g. If I were Dirk Kuyt I'd be pissed that after carrying the club last season I was relegated to the bench this year, same goes for Maxi Rodriguez

IMO Kuyt is one of the best players in the league, and I'd prefer him here to Carroll. Imagine:

    -----Tiote---Cabaye----
    Kuyt-----HBA---Jonas/Marv
    -----------Best----------

    <ok>

Would slightly hinder our claim to being the best looking team in the PL, however.

    As for Carroll coming back..

NAY CHANCE. He's just a present day Ricketts <whistle>

I would have him back. Just imagine Best and carroll up front together, that would be amazing.

Would prefer Cisse from Frieburg, he wants to leave them and we 'bid' for him on the last day, he also has an awesome goal scoring record. Cheaper aswell.

Loads of stuff about him on the Mackem board, they think they've pretty much signed him already.

Think he signed a new deal, mackems sniffing around as well.

Pardew went to watch Derdiryok(sp?) for Switzerland a few weeks back.

Doubt he would go to the mackems when i'm sure there is bigger clubs wanting him. And i hope Pardew was looking at Shaqiri cos he's the next big thing :)

I'm just waiting for the new FM to be released so that a plethora of new players labelled 'wonderkids' all of a sudden become a player we should go for.

I say we put an offer in, get it accepted, and have another striker turn up to sign a contract at the same time as he does, turn to him in the room after the other player has signed the contract and say '**** off you dirty scum'

I completely agree - would never happen, but I'd welcome the dutchman with open arms. He may have taken awhile to get accustomed to the league, but his commitment and finishing is top class.

What really makes me laugh when people talk about Carroll on here is when they call him all the names under the sun, when he was given a choice of:

"there is a helicopter outside ready to take you to Liverpool and we have accepted a bid of £35 million". What's he supposed to do?

And yet Enrique ****s us about for a year, refuses to sign a new contract and keeps us ****ing hanging on with absolutely no desire to sign a new contract, while negotiating with Liverpool behind our backs, then he gets to Liverpool and slags us off something rotten, and most people on here are all for him.

Say: 'I said I have no intention of leaving Newcastle because I'm local and proudly wear the number 9 shirt. I intend to honour my word.'

Nobody thinks Ashley and co are innocent in this. But you don't get away lightly if you're a local lad who ditches the toon number 9 shirt after having it for a few months and after saying how proud you are to have it and how much you love your club and don't want to leave.
You think he wasn't happy to be leaving for Liverpool? You should have seen the fly on the wall LFC TV coverage on the night he arrived, following him around the place and he was absolutely unmistakeably overjoyed, grinning ear to ear.

Also with regards to Enrique, most people don't give a toss about him at all - in fact there was a thread about him earlier this week and several people had legitimately forgotten he even existed. It's the local lad frivolously ditching the number 9 shirt that he'd only just got that leaves a very bitter taste.

Carrol did hand in a transfer request, he was probably told we wont let you speak to another club unless you hand in a request. The transfer request wasnt made up at all. The thing is the club made it seem like andy was pulling the strings in this move when he wasnt, the club wanted just as much as he did and at 35m i cant blame them.

No way will dalglish sell him back to us though, he is there record signing and dalglish has a lot of pride and will never admit he was wrong because he would look like a twat spending that amount of money then saying sorry i go it wrong. I reckon carrol needs a loan, hes been so poor for liverpool. The fact is though liverpool fans will never turn on kenny and even if AC is ****e aslong as kenny says he will comne good the fans will lap it up.

Would any of us want carrol back? As a loan maybe but if we were to buy him hed be at least 15m and hes worth half that imo. Im suprised we turned down bids of 20m+ for him last year
