Bless you...I am fed up with explaining to people that I'm responsible. Friends always say, 'But you can't be!' Yes, you can....depending on the history of your property.
Well so far 7 slats from may fence ended up in a neighbours garden. Just spent the last hour and a half nailing and screwing them back in so the dogs can use the garden. That was fun in the wind and rain It will probably blow off again in a minute.....
Brixton McDonalds hang your heads in shame! Total ****ing chaos from start to finish and still didn't get the order right , you simpleton pricks!! **** you all! Rant over
I have watched Dr Who right from the start when Hartnell played the Doctor and the special effects were cardboard and paper mache….I have liked some Doctors more than others....and I have no problem with the present incumbent, but boy is it getting preachy. Clever writing can sneak a message in whilst still being entertaining, but the present series is outright clunky...look for the message of the week and you can go make a cup of tea when the sermon begins. Dr Who is entertainment....not an infomercial. I need a gin.
So are we. It's because the previous owners wanted to change the existing 3' panels to 6' and were told 'fine - on the basis that you inherit the boundaries'. Last time I replaced the fence I went for a 50:50 mix of concrete gravel boards (brick effect) and panels and have suffered no losses since. The 6'x6' panels are just too much like sails in high winds.
Adding concrete spurs has helped, but am considering lowering the height of the fence on one side to reduce the wind resistance which causes damage. My neighbour has rampant shrubs so privacy won't be an issue.
We lost a panel . Wont be replaced until weds morning . Fun keeping the cats in . Not much banging and crashing in the night.......
Either I'm going deaf, which is entirely possible, or I didn't feel it was much of a storm in Southampton. Yes, the trees got blown around when I looked out the window, but there wasn't huge amount of wind noise. Odd.
I’ve watched it right from the start too, but I cannot handle the preachy PC-ness of this latest series, so I’ve given up. Sad really because I always looked forward to it, but no longer!
Storm Ciara wasn't all bad news.........80 minutes ahead of schedule https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-51433720
Sad really...because I was looking forward to a female Dr Who and, as I said, have no problem with the actress.
Its happening everywhere. All of Hollywood is now driven by political agenda movies. Diversity is more important than the story. The ironic thing is, you used to be able to go to the movies to escape the real world!
The wife and I argued all day about what to call a medieval soldier. But it was getting late so we called it a knight.
My brother lives in Portsmouth (Don't worry he's a Saint) went into a Macdonalds in Portsmouth and asked for a cheeseburger without any of the sh1t in it. The person serving him said you could just ask for a plain one. He said that's what I asked for last time and you put all the sh1t in it
