1. McKenzie 2. Elder 3. Honeyman. Mentioned in despatches. Maddison tried all game, Batty until he went off, Lopez never let us down, the new lad McLoughlin ? never put a foot wrong to be fair and probably deserved a vote in the top three and the away support. Well done to all those who travelled. I doff my cap to you all, see thee at PNE.
Elder, thank **** he's back Mcloughlin, tough debut handled it well Leo, the only player in our cm who actually looks comfortable and capable on the ball. Batty was up there on first half perf, but dropped 2nd half, Cannot believe people are saying honeyman, the lad spent the first 75 mins exclusively passing to reading players. Can't fault the lads effort but jesus.
McLaughlin - to make a debut in the middle of a make shift defence and to perform the way the lad did deserves huge credit Batty - amazed he was taken off .. for me he was the stand out of the middle 3 Maddison - the lads a player no doubt about it .. bit more understanding with his team mates and he will be the creative spark we so desperately need
He wouldn't quite make my top 3 but thought this was the gutsiest I've seen us in midfield for ages and he epitomised that. Think on the whole when he's started games recently he's done well.
