I have an awful feeling this game will be the hardest one we have played and will play for a while. They are bang in form and have slowly risen up the league from a relatively slow start to the season. We are capable of beating anyone in this league when we turn up and it is to be hoped that this will be one occasion we do that in buckets full. I am not going to say we will win this one but will repeat that we CAN win it. I am going out on Saturday afternoon so won't be around in my usual seat at home with the old computer on my lap and Sky Sports News channel on the box. Not sure if I will be anywhere I can see scores or even the result before I get home later in the evening. Hopefully if I can't get the score it won't be one of those log in with great expectations and finding a huge disappointment in reality. Don't let me down Bheys and make it a good un.

Christ Plym. Don't get too enthusiastic about our chances or it might rain or something. It is on their patch not our's remember and until last game they had a 16 match unbeaten run going. Think this qualifies as "difficult" even if not impossible.

Taking their last 10 games against our last 10, we're a whopping 10 points better than them, beaten this week only by the 12 point advantage Exeter have over Stevenage.

Measuring their last 6 homes against our last 6 aways, it's closer: we have 15 points against their 12. Having said that, only our 1-0 defeat at Cambridge back on 7th December spoils what would otherwise be a perfect 18. What does stand out is our recent away defensive record : a parsimonious half a goal a game against Swindon's 1.67, let alone the likes of Mansfield, who've conceded 12 in their last 6 aways.

Does this mean anything? Depends on Lady Luck of course. We'll have a different back 3 with Sawyer suspended. Given Sawyer's absence, the one we'd really like to be fit is Aimson, but that's not the case and it'll be Josh Grant standing in I suppose. McFadzean and Telford are back in full training and Sarcevic and Joel Grant are close to returns, so we're closer to a full squad than we have been for weeks. I see no reason to expect a defeat based on form, but as always, anything could happen.

Blimey notDistant....sensible used to moan at me about quoting stats....but that lot takes the biscuit....

I've put us down as a draw in my predictions this week....and to be honest I would be pleased with that.....our defence is above average in this league....but I remember what Canavan and Wootton can sink to at times when things go wrong...and with no Sawyer for experience to back them up I'm a little nervous.

Never really expected anything from this one as been on the cards for weeks now. Heard Exeter were giving away free pasties at half time...:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I was in a restaurant this afternoon and asked a person I was with and 3 - 40 what the score was with Argyle. 3 - 0 he said having looked it up on his phone. I sank into my chair. I did say at the outset with my first post that I have an awful feeling about this one. I was expecting it to be much worse having not asked again. 3 - 0 almost sounds like an escape.
