Nice to know you prefer the glory boys! I mean look at all the so-called Arsenal fans that live in South Hampshire. Shouldn't they be supporting a local club instead? I get a lot of pride when a team from our área wins something. Doesn't matter whether it is Saints or Pompey or Cherries.
Ides, I don't understand how you are still surprised that 99% of this forum want Pompey to lose any given game. They are our rivals. Only very few Saints fans would ever want Pompey to win a game and vice versa.
I would much rather have Bournemouth, Brighton and Portsmouth in the Premier League than Everton, West Ham and Burnley. Obviously with us as the top team of the Southern Powerhouse.
Bournemouth and Brighton....yes. Pompey...no. And I was born there. Don't mind if they do okay, but they have to remain in a lower league.
Brighton and Watford play out an utterly dire 1-1 draw. Seriously, anyone thinking there's still a decent chance of falling back into the mix just needed to watch tonight's game for reassurance.
Lose 1 or two key players to our team and we will be looking over our shoulder. We're looking good at the mo, but I'm not going to get too confident just yet. But that's just my nature.
Happy with today. And with two home wins tomorrow we are sitting pretty. A lot of hard work has gone into our latest run, and we deserve to enjoy the run it. Exciting.
Me neither. But lose one or two key players and we are very short of quality in our squad...and without naming names. People to score goals!
I was looking at something on my iPad and heard who I assumed was Michael Owen talking. Glanced up and did a double-take!
