    There are more than a few players on the naughty step this week. Or injuries i don't know about.... Kinell, no Burke, taff or kane, not e en in the squad!?!

    When you look at the bench it's pretty obvious its injuries or sickness with Bonds and Smith included .. wonder if he is gonna play Eric in the middle with McLaughlin and shove young Mackenzie at fb. Do I sense a 4 man midfield in there too with Batty Irvine DeSilva and Honeyman in .. not exactly known for their wing play ! With Maddison in free role behind Eaves ?

    MacKenzie more a CB than FB so i'd hope it's him and Mcloughlin at CB.....but **** me, did not see that 18 coming.

    Don't do predictions cos City have a long history of f ,.’king both logic and form up at times. Eerie seeing both Bowen and Turbo missing from the starting line up.

    Centre half. Be good to see if he can step up to the Championship, this is literally his moment; Reading are probably the best type of team for him to be starting against. Not sure why we've such a ridiculous injury list in defence though. Maybe they're just sick of our non existent midfield.

    It's just ridiculous though, we have 3 of our four senior centre halves injured and our LB semi-match fit after recovering from his own injury. It can't go on like this.

    Maybe look at the free transfer list and somebody in short term.

    It's probably the weakest back four we've had to field since we had to stick Sonny Bradley and Liam Cooper in there a few years back. Nothing against them, but they weren't ready for the Championship. Woe betide us if Aluko comes on.

    We tend to buy players with bad injury records because they're cheap. This is the product of that transfer plan.
