All 3 new signings in the bench. This should put some real pressure on the starting 11 to perform tonight!

We were absolute rubbish and if that's what the transfer window has brought us then goodbye. After getting the 1st goal @ 40 seconds we bossed the game for another 15 minutes and then showed our true colours and allowed them to dominate and we never looked like ever getting back in the fray. Without 2 almost goal line clearances from Williams we were lucky not to go down 3-1 by halftime. There were some poor performances out there tonight and Ashley seemed to spend most of the evening berating the other members of our defensive line. Very disappointed doesn't even come close for me.

A few minutes after our goal passion was showing over 65% to them … until 1-1 then dropped down a bit till 2-1 when it got closer at 45 -55 ..

Have to agree with you on that performance. Creativity was dreadful and predictable and we ran out of ideas, even the movement lacked IMO..

There seems to be a missing ingredient in our work rate which leads to losses like this. Creativity is a at an extreme low which does not allow us to compete against teams like Birmingham who are currently on a bit of a resurgence and beat us at whatever game we were trying to play. We are still in the hunt but we need to be way better that what we put on show tonight. Still time to ring the changes Lee so get to it!

seems to me we get a lead then sit back and think we have the best defence in the country … NAHKI to start Derby game along with Fammy with Eliasson and O 'dowda Smith and Henriksen and a strong back four … play 4- 2 - 4 Weimann and Patto Benko for subs

LJ completely wrong set up from the start.
Needs to make changes against Derby.
Wells and Eriksen need too start.
Powderpuff and so slow going forward.

We’ve been complete rubbish at home all season, away from home is a different story sadly, only way we'll ever finish top 6 is sorting out our home form which under LJ is not fun to watch a lot of the time

If we could improve our winning percentage at home by 50% we could be proper contenders. When you consider we had just won four in a row we could at least expect a decent contest at home, but no the usual demons crept in to our game with the obvious end result. Some very weak performances put in by several players tonight but will the necessary changes and attitudes be addressed before our next contest. I really can't see any other choices than to look at the whole set-up and make the right moves to redeem ourselves after a very bad loss at the worst possible time.

Don't think LJ could have dropped Fammy after the games he's been having, so not sure what you regard as the wrong set up..To be fair to Fammy, I think the service he got was dreadful..

Fammy was one of the ones last night to have any credit, you could see the frustration in him with the service he was getting. Also why does Weinmann always play so far away from him.
Play Wells alongside Diedhiou and play off him against Derby.
Hendriksen probably needs a few sub games to get to match fitness as he’s barely played this season.

I understand you don’t change a winning team , but it was obvious from the start our midfield wasn’t strong enough , massengo isn’t the answer yet I’m afraid , he is too lightweight and holds onto the ball for too long . We need to get the Hull guy ready ASAP imo, as we need a bit more bite in midfield. It’s been the same for a while, since we sold pack . On a side note what has happened to Nagy , he looked a world beater before his injury, at present he’s awful, is he still injured?

    Nope Fammy is playing well

Weimann needs dropping for Wells and Erikson half fit would be better in the midfield that what played last night.

I don’t know why Nagy was brought on yesterday, I know the the hull guy hasn’t played much , but why bother bro him here if he’s that unfit, I wouldn’t expect him to play from the start , but with 20 mins or 30 mins to go ?

He was brought here because he’s a free at the end of the season. If it all works great we’ve hopefully got first choice if not then it’s only wages for 4 months.
A loan deal is quicker to get through rather than a purchase bit like Arsenal only getting Soares on loan. Come summer they can finalise things.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he starts Wednesday but may be subbed towards the end.
Massengo is going to be good, but I don’t think in the position we are playing him in at the moment. He’s not quick enough to play the Brownhill position.

I agree you can see Massengo has quality , but he’s not at that level yet, I thought several times last night he held the ball too long when a quick ball was on. I did think the hull player would have been better than Nagy as we were lacking physicality in midfield, and would have only been for 25 minutes or so.

I have said for a long time our midfield is so weak its unbelievable, last night Paterson was the only one to come out with any credit, need to find room for a natural finisher like Wells, Weimann needs resting, how do you sort the mid field out I will leave that to LJ and his coaching staff think they will find it difficult.
