One thing I do find a tad puzzling though. He seems a loyal person, and he's been married for 27 years. So is he coming out as gay without ever having a gay experience? Am I being very naive?

Thinking back, it happened probably before I did. It went from attraction, to stimulation onto satisfaction pretty damn quickly. I certainly didn't need to 27 years and what could be considered a bit of a lie to find my true identity. Not meaning to offend, just don't get it. With a side note of who gives a damn.......are webuyanycar going to pay him more now to fill the diversity quota?

 

I suspect he's had his hand forced somewhat by a partner threatening to go to press with it, which is very sad really. It's the business of him and his closest to deal with.

Though having been in a marriage for 27 years, there's going to be a whole heap of guilt and mixed emotion to get through. It's not going to be like the first pangs of passion as a teen.

 

Interesting. I've just had a chat with someone who thinks his mrs has been ultra supportive. To which my reply was, why, shouldn't she be sorting her life out, she's married to a guy for nearly three decades but he likes men now? Her only focus should be on her.
Now cynical me is thinking, this is a little swerve ball for the bullying allegations of recent, but its a lot of effort to go to, isn't it? I certainly wouldn't be that bothered.
But with everyone in the media applauding his bravery today, well, I'd like to shine a light on the the unsung people around the world, like the firemen saving animals from the flames in Oz, to our life guards pulling desperate immigrants from the sea. They are the brave. He's just a rich guy with a massive platform........and probably a bigger ego.

I liked Hacksaw Ridge. A true story of a conscientious objector who joined up as a medic, and refused to touch a gun.
An amazing story that, apparently, left out more acts of heroism in case it made the film unbelievable.

 

A brilliant brilliant film!

 

I couldn't get past that goofy spiderman actor. Find him very irritating.
