Seen quite a few people being down about the film 1917. I've just been to the cinema to see it, and found it quite extraordinary. A brilliant film.
The rings around Saturn were caused when a moon tried to form too close to the planet, and was thus ripped apart by the gravitational pull. The unfortunate moon's rocky mass was pulled into Saturn's atmosphere and destroyed, while the icy remnants stayed in space, in perpetual orbit. Just in case you were wondering.
Yep. Great depiction of the horror. The beach landing scene at the cinema was amazing. Puts it in the top five cinema films as well.
Yeah, hard to argue against that. Still love Full Metal Jacket though, just because of Kubrick's darkness.
Within the next 53 years forums like this won't exist...it will all be done by thought I will be sitting here thinking let me look at the Saints forum, close my eyes and each page will come to me. I will be able to see unread, read and replies to my posts. We will have to revisit Sitckies then though as they may encroach into my everyday life.
