This isn’t about them though, this is about FPP and us.

If you think bitching about Ashley is making a good contribution I now understand why you always like a certain posters posts.

I'm not sure how you (your wife) can dismiss this totally out of hand. They could have originally intended to buy some of the club's shares from Madrox, so a SPV was required. The fact that SD doesn't want to stay on now, and that there is now a loan between the american company and Madrox, means it would be much tidier for the american company to takeover Madrox directly. Otherwise, that loan would need to be dealt with before SD could sell to FPP.

Madrox has hardly any history and is merely a holding company - I don't see any increased risk of the american holding company becoming shareholders of Madrox rather than putting another UK holding company in between. They already have separation via the american company. There is no tax advantage to putting another UK holding company in between because if, when FPP want to sell, they want the capital gain in the UK, they sell the club's shares, if they want the gain in the US, they sell the Madrox shares.

It could also be a tactic to get SD to panic thinking that they are pulling out. It only takes a quick form submitted within 2 months to cancel the striking off of FPP Sunderland Ltd. Even if it is struck off, it only takes a day or two to register a new company.

I'm probably clutching at straws, but I haven't fully given up on FPP yet. I just hope we get some clarity very soon so we can move on.

And who's that then? I like posts on the basis of whether I think they've got merit or not. You've just complained about it getting like RTG on here and now you're getting all petty.
Ashley was mentioned in relation to the ownership issue and the discussion went off on a tangent. That's what happens.

Like I said, this has **** all to do with them but they turn it into a thread about them.

I come on here to discuss and read about SAFC not about them idiots up the road, if that’s petty then so be it.

Like I said, this is (was) a generally friendly place and decent Mag posters have always been accepted. I don't know what it was like on RTG cos I've never used it but if you chased decent posters away, no matter what club they supported, no wonder it became full of WUMs and idiots.

I don’t want to hear about the poor hard done by sad acts on a Sunderlamd forum, if I did I would be a sad act and go on their forum.

It’s actually pathetic they think they’re hard done by and come in this thread to tell us that, they don’t know what hard done by is.

Let’s keep this thread on track and not derail it into a thread about the attention seeking willy wavers.

Ok mate, that's fine, I obviously feel like it's worth bearing in mind that it's literally what she does for a living, and on far bigger deals than this. I don't take any offence to questioning her as she spent 2 minutes thinking about it and didn't look at the group structure, but she's currently working on refinancing for a Premier League club, so she knows her onions.

So you didn't like RTG and came over here and now want to make it like RTG? Makes sense.

Am I? With what? The fact that no one has ever had any problems with the handful of decent Mag posters who occasionally visit this board? Doesn't seem like a struggle to me.

Not precisely sure what your issue is - there were 2 or 3 posts about Ashley - not "taking over the thread" What has taken over the thread is your constant arguing with a SAFC fan about it! Far more disruptive than the mags on here.

You mean the poster who jumped in with two feet and continues to waffle.... like you’re doing now?

I will never understand why they come on a Sunderland forum to complain about the nasty man Ashley, in fact I will never understand why they come on a Sunderland forum full stop. I can’t understand why they do it.

Now, you two stop derailing this thread and let people discuss the actual topic.

If I was a mod, I'd be like the puniest traffic cop out there. I've got the uniform and the power so put yourself in those handcuffs and get in the car. You would all just kneel at my feet, I'd be great

Like yourself, read my last post and the other one saying the same, if you 3 didn’t keep quoting me I wouldn’t need to keep repeating myself, this really isn’t difficult.
