I was at that game, Fulham away, which was memorable for two reasons..... Firstly Matty Edeson becoming the youngest Tiger in a league game, I was at school with him at the time (he was year below me)…. And secondly.....a City fan on sticks with a prosthetic leg had a mishap, which involved his leg falling off and rolling right down the terracing to the front...... Strange what you remember really....
He did however go to the end of season knees up. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Keith Edwards (first time hurt more than second, but maybe a mixture of my age and who he went to) Ian Ashbee
As GLP said too many to mention. However of the players recently, I was gutted to see Huddlestone leave as I used to love to watch him play. Also McShane & Rossy.
I played a few games of walking football with Matty Edeson, still a decent larker. Robert Koren. To think we once had a player like him who couldn't get into the 1st team!
Chris Simpkin Chillo Brian Marwood Paul Moss Dave Roberts Ken Knighton Garry Parker Jeff Wealands Keith Edwards Phil Hough! Jimmy McGill
Some truth in that. One hell of a talent .... when he could be bothered. Over the moon when we signed him. Hull City signing players like Ben Arfa. WTF. If only it had worked out.
Andy Payton was a bit sad, as I used to copy his move of taking it around the keeper. I used to try and replicate a lot of City players tricks, also figured out Jenkinsons little shuffle.
Could you do the Galvin 'shuffle?', - I remember him at Bootham Crescent terrorising the York fullback into a nervous wreck.
