    I was thinking more next Xmas when we are in the bottom three and have an injury crisis as Long, Ings, JWP etc are needed upfront and cannot play RB...

    I don't think its fitness. To not make the bench again, after training for ten days tells me something else. Better hope kwp is good, and not prone.

    In that positive train of thought, we are good away, good in yellow, and always win on a Wednesday (Ok, I made that bit up, but the thing about positivity is that anything is believable and possible).

    Oh and what ever happens, the tune to 'Oh When The Saints' will be ringing out at full time.

    I thought we might start with someone other than Long upfront tonight. Long is perfect when trying to get in behind teams, however Spurs sat very deep at St. Mary's and tried to hit us on the counter. If they do the same tonight then he may be less effective than Adams. I suppose Tottenham might have to be a bit more adventurous tonight...
