The old Jose might have backed his side to win the CL, as outsiders. The modern version is a lot more cynical, still wants to win a trophy, and knows the FA Cup is their only conceivable chance of doing so this season.

Yeah, that's my fear. This really appears to be his main objective. I think even their fans are surprised. What ever happens, I'm pleased that Boufal rifled that bastard in.
Here to annoy, if nothing else.

i'd be delighted with a saints win. Beating Spurs in the Cup is special in its own right
also we'd have a realistic route to the Quarter Finals
& this would set us up nicely for three winnable league games that we have coming up!!!
    come on you saints

Last time Saints beat Spurs 1-0 in the League and then in the FA Cup:

The best Saints player anywhere on the pitch whilst I've supported saints.

All good candidates, But we had a decent team around these player's. Niemi single handledly won us games all by his own.

Imagine if you got a hybrid player out of those 3.

Mane for his pace and being clinical, Virgil for his defending/coolness, and Guly for just being Guly :)

Probably needs a separate thread but MLT would win hands down. Although we never saw enough of him though, Ronnie Ekelund was something special.

Edit: Back on topic, Ali facing lated fitness test :(

He'll probably brush past it, then throw himself to the floor, looking for a penalty

Certainly the best keeper. Matty followed by Rickie.

Must stick to topic. We will win on penalties.

    Don’t suppose this is televised?

Looks like we sold out which is a good effort considering nobody apparently cares about this cup anymore.

Hopefully the club take note and stop taking pathetic allocations for Midlands and South.
