I am glad that you have realised that Club Hero 'the Nabster' doesn't need to prove that he deserves a new contract … perhaps at a slightly reduced wage though?
I deliberately didn’t include Sarr because I have already written him off. He isn’t good enough defensively. He’s directly cost us 5/6 goals with mistakes so far this season.
I still think we will need 52 points to stay up. Lee Bowyer thinks that QPR & Hull could still be dragged into it. Huddersfield v Bristol City and Luton v Brentford tonight.
The way results went on Saturday I can see Udders and Luton winning 1-0 each!... How did Fulham get thrashed by Barnsley FFS!.... and I was expecting Millwall to get at least a point at Wigan T C …. I will be having a word with my bruv @brb about your banning
How many of them would have got into our 1997-98 squad? None. So we shouldn't be keeping any of them. If ESI do summer on the cheap and we're making up the numbers in the Championship next season, they can whistle for their ST money. And that definitely applies if Roland 'Rigsby' Duchatelet is still our Landlord. Had enough of small club mentality.
Yes, I think 47 was too low a prediction. Bit surprised LB would think that - unless he was just saying it to encourage his players a bit by downplaying the number of points they might need. However, players know the score well enough. So Bowyer's 47 points prediction may just have been aimed at the more credulous among Charlton fans.
Well, that's the way it goes. If the bottom 6 teams up their game, we'll have to do the same - with the help of our cracking January signings of course... Thanks Mr Southall! I think Slappers may be right; 52 points could be required.
Amazing when you think that Millwall luckily scraped up last season with 44 points. The team that finishes bottom this season might get more than that. Barnsley & Luton are not dead yet.
Middlesborough v Forest tonight. A win for Boro will drop Stoke into the Bottom 3, and leave us just outside it on goal difference.
Think you will need a very very rare 3 points off of us on 4th April or could well be curtains. As our season has developed into a mid season flop, should we let you win? Got to look after your little neighbours eh. There was a poll on the Millwall forum the other day asking whether we should let you use our ground when ESI go tits up and Rolando kicks you out - was a surprising result - 3% said yes
