Good post. They say you learn more about individuals in adversity. We'll know more at the end of February.
Until recently I would have said Lichaj was a much better player but he's been pretty bad recently Kingsley just doesn't inspire any confidence in me , I always worry when he starts games
I don’t think he was much better. Lichaj is a far better player and has shown he’s a consistent performer for us. kingsley has been a bag of **** from day one. he was **** yesterday too and the bottling of the fifty fifty was a disgrace. He’ll be lucky to get another club when we release him.
I have to question the statement "a few years ago". I'm nearly 64 and them three and the others alighted my passion for City when I was a kid.
I think Lichaj is a decent whole hearted fullback who gets stuck in and is a decent defender, his one let down is a slight lack of pace when coming up against a quick winger, sometimes it stops him getting forward has well and that's why he won't play at an higher level. However if you want someone who's dependable, gets stuck in then then he rarely let's you down. Kinsley has just been to inconsistent and unreliable.
Why on earth haven’t we used Dicko? I know he’s **** and couldn’t hit a barn door on a bandstand with a biscuit barrel, but he’s fast and direct and harries and offers something we simply do not have since Campbell left. He should be our first choice stricker.
Kingsley was much worse in my opinion. Lichaj is very average, Kingsley doesnt seem to have any confidence at all
Probably not, no, and I wouldn't want you to really. But joining the knee-jerk rugby-chat-is-bad brigade can leave one looking a bit like a.... well, like the others on here who go down that line.
Good question. Most seem to have forgotten about him. He isn't ****. He was very good at Wolves. His record was impressive. For some reason, a fresh start under McCann didn't seem to be considered. Possibly didn't see him fitting into his system? And another high earner I guess whose wages are at least being partially paid by someone else.
No , it's only one type of rugby people seem to object to on here , and that's in a thread explicitly about it as well
Dicko's scored 4 in 11 at Vitesse, compared to 6 in 47 with us and 31 in 94 with Wolves. Maybe we didn't play to his strengths?
The way things are now, I suspect the next 3 or 4 weeks we are going to struggle, until the new signing bed in and we get back Stewart and Toral. Once these are all up to speed I think we will at least pick up enough points to stay clear of the drop.
