Valid point chesh, I didn't bother going on Tuesday night but went yesterday and wished I hadn't bothered again after the final whistle. The football is mind numbing at the minute I'm bored to death with it. Tippy tappy sideways and backwards and no end product is ****e. We are playing exactly how reading played against us under jaap Stam and every one of us crucified them for it. It's monotonous. keeper out to cooper or white, half a dozen passes along the back line, out to alioski or Ayling **** about up to the half way line turn around and pass it all the way back to cooper or white. On the occasions when we do get forward we just **** about on the opposition 18 yard box trying to find the perfect pass to walk the ball into the net. Like the guy said next to me yesterday we are the poor mans arsenal.

Don't bring them in then, buck stops with Bielsa. He isn't doing himself any favours currently 2 wins in 10 looks like relegation form not promotion.

We have only Bamford, the director of Football comes to you with a choice of three strikers. You pick the one you want then get told sorry they now want a stupid price for him, actually we can only afford this one, take him or leave it.

Bielsa doesn’t do the scouting, Orta does. Orta has worked with Bielsa long enough to know the drill. Could you imagine the uproar if Bielsa had said no I don’t want him then we have nobody if Bamford gets injured.

I too am calling time on Bamford, I’m just saying Bielsa is a better coach than us, he has seen Augustin on the training pitch and if he says he isn’t ready I believe him

On 3m a year I’d expect Bielsa yo be better than us. TC and heckingbottom were also better than us. He’s a fantastic coach, has made a bunch of average players great at times. But a master tactician, I’m not sure and his trophy cabinet suggests not. You can only improve certain things anyway. If a player can’t shoot or head a ball by mid twenties, they’re not going to learn it now. Our weak points are glaringly obvious to all but deluded fans and no amount of stats will change that

Was listening to Wheelan on the radio on the way home and a guy rang in and made a good point. Why has Augustine got to go through this bielsa initiation of missing half a dozen games, run out with the23s and jump through all the hoops to meet the bielsa ball standards yet Tyler roberts a guy made of biscuits has just walked straight back into the team after being out injured for weeks. Surely he's no fitter than Augustine. If it's all about tactics then I'm sorry he should be in the squad from day 1. It's football not brain surgery it's really not that complicated no matter how hard some people like to make it sound. Score more concede less job done.

That is not nice at all pal. I spent over a week in hospital early 2019 and 2018 with exactly that. You should try sleeping either in a comfy chair or sitting up in bed

And what if Bamford had broken his leg first minute yesterday, and what if we missed loads of chances and needed an extra attacker, we did have no one, because he wasn't on the bench, kids were that he never intended to play, so why have them on the bench, and the one we did need, not on the bench.

    Its a great point Nick.

A professional footballer, any professional footballer, if they are told by their Manager how he should play, and was given 4 days to train, you'd expect the player to do quite a good job.

If you ask the same of a 20m player, because of their superior skill, you'd expect them to not just plug the gap but to be able to do whats asked of them with only a small degree of error.

If Bielsa is looking for perfection, he's not going to find it in the Championship. Its going to be a mixture of skill, discipline, digging deep and fitness throughout the season.

Going to take time for any player to get up to speed playing their best, the sooner we start the better. And in place of a player having a bad game, is the time to start. If we had brought Poveda and Augustin on last ten minutes yesterday, what would we have lost.

We’re all saying this because we’re frustrated and angry at the missed chances and screaming for a guy to be on the bench that we haven’t a clue about. He hasn’t played much football, his stats don’t scream prolific and if we’re doing the “what ifs” what if Bielsa and the other coaches have seen him on the training ground and he is dogs bollocks crap. As for the bench we had Tyler Roberts who can play up front.

It’s always the same, we sign a player, we Wiki them and convince ourselves they are the saviour without seeing them ever kicking a ball. Che Adams came on the other day, Southampton fans crucified him on social media, they were amazed they never snapped our hands off for him, utter useless by all accounts.

He was first choice, what if we’d got him, what does it say about 2nd and 3rd choice. Look I’m not defending Bamford, I’d drop him myself but I can’t scream for a player to be picked I haven’t a clue about

But Bielsa sanctioned the signings so they must be good enough surely.

Like I said before, you have no reserve striker, the director offers you three, can’t get the first choice, rules out another for the same too expensive reason then it becomes this one or nothing.

We’re all second guessing a bit as to what went on with Orta and Bielsa but seriously, were they the best three Orta could uncover? If we were willing to spend £5m on a loan for 4 months with a promise to buy of another £15m a total of £20m spend surely there was someone better and ready to step straight in.

Orta KNOWS how Bielsa operates, he knows what he expects, we should have been offering Bielsa three different options all ready to step straight in.

I hope he doesn't learn how Leeds play, we've already got a ineffective striker who can only score from 2 foot, don't need another, that's the point.

Tyler Roberts, is a no 10,where he's good, not that good as a striker TBH, If that's right and Augustin is crap on the training pitch, then things are much worse than we think and we should sack Bielsa and Orta straight away, as they have both been watching him for years so they said.

I think Bielsa is the best thing at the club for the last 15 years, I think Orta is useless, if Bielsa hadn’t joined when he did I’m sure Orta would have been out of a job, just my opinion though <ok>

Again all opinions, Bamford closely followed by Costa the worst two on the pitch for me, maybe throw Kiko in as he had two saves to make all game.

Just had a look on social media, Costa is suffering along with Bamford and Bielsas tactics. Between Harrison and Costa they put in 39 crosses, they only found a Leeds player 11 times, not chances, just found their intended target

https://www.beinsports.com/au/efl-championship/team/player/2019/10/2/165808 Costa has crossed the ball 65 times this season, only 7 successful
