I used to play alot of poker back in the day. Taught me how to be better at all aspects of gambling. My issue is that I can't help having fun bets that I know are wrong but enjoy watching it unfold. I went through a phase of betting on multiple injuries. It was basically spread betting on 1st half injury time multiplied by 2nd half injury time. Puts a new slant on the game when you are celebrating injuries, substitutions and pitch invasions in the first half! Sat shouting at the telly "stay down! Stay down!" or "woo hoo! Theres some claret pouring there, this is a good two minutes here!".
If anyone is thinking of having a bet against Leeds today then I would strongly advise saving your money. We're just about to come back to form, as shown by some of our scintillating football on Tuesday, have a feeling we're going to start banging in the goals as well. What could possibly go wrong
You could be lucky and get away with it. I pretend to be an Aussie on my second one and so far nobody’s noticed
Good work I tried playing a thick northern b****ard and no one noticed me. So I changed to being a southern c***. That worked better so now I'm a mod
2-0 I recon providing we don’t forget that they will come at us from the start and try and upset our game
Last few games we’ve shown some nerves early on and got caught, I’m hoping for a huge confidence boosting win. I agree we need to watch out as the first 20 minutes they’ll throw everything at us
Nearly forgot about that...the brainwashing department was closed when it was my turn. Catch 22 today...would love to see Jean-Kev but would probably mean things not going to plan if we do.
Looking at the league as a whole I'd say our transfer business was very good to excellent. We're definitely stronger than we were before the 2 loans went back. Jack Clarke hardly featured and that was unlikely to change, whilst Nketiah was obviously only with us for himself, not a team man or player in my opinion. Happy to stake my reputation that Jean-Kev will prove to be a really good aquisition for us...according to Orta he was the 2nd name on the list of all the strikers they were interested in and Orta has been scouting him for over 4 years. It also shows how patience is required, we were politely refused at the beginning of January, which then turned into a maybe something could happen 2 weeks later, followed by completing the signing a few days after that. If we'd just moved on and panicked a little we could have made a very expensive mistake elsewhere instead. Guess we'll never know who was No'1 on that list but we got our man and therefore we have to be happy and satisfied that we've bolstered the squad with quality players who potentially will be with us next season and beyond. Well done Orta, well done Radz
